On the Pulse Elite, I think the VSS works well enough, but not enough to know exactly where things are most of the time, like which direction you're getting shot from. Or maybe it's my ears.
Also, i think the volume could be louder, i put it on max volume playing bordelands 2 and that wasn't too overpowering.
Haven't tried the mic though.
Those are the cons i can think of, which i think aren't that bad, love everything else about 'em though.

Yes, the volume output is a little bit underwhelming for me too — but to each its own, some people may find it too loud.
The VSS isn't as accurate as Turtle Beach's DSS/DSS2 as well. Understandable, Sony isn't using any Dolby Headphone technology here... hence, they don't need to pay royalties and raising the price of the headphone.

Yup, agreed with that, for the price, the headphones are pretty damn good. thumbup.gif

Sometimes i notice a drop of sound output when playing with the Pulse, like when playing borderlands 2 and firing like crazy, the sound would just drop for a second then pick up again as usual. Not sure what's up with my headphones or has anyone experienced this?
I'm not sure if it's busted because the sound drop is seldom and other than that it functions superbly, as it should.

A lot of other wireless interference around your place?
Understand that the wireless USB connector is running on a 2.4ghz frequency... so if you have a lot of wireless interference, like modem/routers, mobile devicies, microwave, cordless phones, etc. etc, then your audio dropping is normal.

Wouldn't have mind Sony raising the price to $179 just to include 5ghz support for their wireless support, would have solved all wireless interference issues.

Here's also hoping in the next few firmwares, Sony would allow higher volume outputs to the Pulse headset.

Interference might be it, i've got a router and handphones near. Hope that is just the case.
And yeah, if they increase the vol output through future updates, that would be awesome.

Can the wireless mode works for PC?
Or only for PS3?

The USB dongle also hooks up to PC so yes you can use it wirelessly with your PC. Just don't lose the dongle.
