Woot.. just got mine!!

a little tasteless short review fro me:

Awesome overall build quality, but the mic mechanism for extension seems a little flimsy and loose a bit, but its just a minor issue.. no harm done!

Sound Quality is good, not too excellent. The bass is a little on the low side, treble is a bit high, but this a good thing when u want to hear footsteps in games IMHO, do correct me. Hell! it beats playing at night when my toddler is asleep with the sound system at low volumes!! tongue.gif at last i can hear explosions and gunfire at full blast!! I also tried connecting it to my Laptop for sound test, it seems like the 7.1 surround doesnt work on the PC / Laptop, not sure the 7.1 surround is system/hardware dependent (?) or I was too stupid to notice?

as for the mic, didnt hv a chance to test it out yet.. gonna try again Tom Calancy's EndWar with this beast, as i had a hard time getting my voice commands to the game with my bluetooth earpiece before.. and maybe try some online mic spamming afterwards tongue.gif

All in all, its a great addition to the PS3 accessories, yes some can say there are better wireless or wired options that might be cheaper out there, but for now, this is the best headphone to get for its practicality, ease of integration, and price. At RM290, it might fall a bit on the high side for casual gamers, but most soundphiles or gamers may already know how much good gaming wired / wireless headsets will cost, and at this price its just a steal. Get it while its hot guys!

read from somewhere else earlier...if not mistaken virtual surround only support PS3 but no other hardware...

by the way is it leather they use to build the ear cover? hate leather when it cracks and drop off piece by piece... sad.gif

Yeah, agree abt the virtual sound. Seems like its software and hardware dependent.

From texture and smell it might be leather hybrid, some plastic smell on it. Will sure peel of in 2 years imho..
