Hi Guys, so I've rooted and flashed my sgs2 just yesterday, I've got rid off some bloatwares. So it was running smoothly and all my setting are still there, I think.

Only now I can't change my lock screen pic? Since I've only stock wallpapers, it still directly go to my gallery and there's none to select?

Has anyone else tried to change theirs? Do you guys have got a sequence lock on?

to change the lockscreen wallpaper;
1. go to your gallery.
2. select the folder containing the picture that you want.
3. touch the picture and you will see a menu saying; "Set as".
4. select that menu.
5. you will be presented with a pop-up menu;
a) Contact icon
b) Home screen wallpaper
c) Lock screen wallpaper
d) QuickPic Wallpaper (in my case since I installed QuickPic)
6. select the one that said; "Lock screen wallpaper".
7. That's it. You are done.
8. Press the power  button to off your phone. Wait for a few seconds, press it back ON. You will see the new lockscreen wallpaper.

please try and post feedbacks/comments.

regards,
morisa

Hi morisa, thanks for the suggestion. The problem is when I did that, I can't see or find any of my pics in each folder unsure.gif ....I'm thinking of reflashing mine sgs2 or roll back.

Hi ellebasi,
Are you sure you have pictures inside your phone. Why don't you try snap a picture and open your gallery after that. This is done just to confirm about the picture availability.

regards,
morisa

Yes there are pictures in my gallery/phone. I can see the pictures in gallery normally. The problem occur only when I try to change the lock screen wallpaper.

Try VillainROM 1.1, it's base on ke7, gave mine the best battery life so far. rclxms.gif Can last up to 2 days normal uses(sms, calls, a bit videos, games and wifi).

owh, if so, you should sent back to samsung, rather then the shop..maybe the shop lazy sent to samsung, and just replace you with cheap part..anything can happened right..

i also plan to buy SGS2 next week..

meaning if I buy in maxis, we still need to go SME to claim warranty right?.
*
Yes, I guess we all could agreed that it's always a good idea to send our phone to samsung first for any unsolved software problems or hardware defect. Cheers for samsung and sgs2! rclxms.gif

Which is why common sense is not so common these days tongue.gif

On topic: Is it absolutely crucial to get an external power pack? So far are there any serious auto-reboot issues with them phone?
*
It's really depend on the individual user, if you really feel the battery life too short and it bother you then go ahead. Anyway the battery life really not that bad especially after flashing with other rom.

About the auto reboot issues, only happen to me twice before and after flashed.
