If you already installed a version => 1.3 ROM:
XWKE715.zip Unzip the downloaded file (the file contains XWKE715.tar)

To run the wipe of the cache:

Turn off the cell.
Power on while holding Vol + + HOME + Power
Select Wipe Cache
Press Home
Turn off the cell.

How to flash :

Connect the cell to pc mode Download (Vol-+ Home + Power and then press Continue)
Launch Odin (in administrator mode)
Looking forward to CM7

I think it is not a defect, every camera has its limit of focusing object on certain distance.
So if you put the object TOO near to the camera lenses, it can't focus to it.
Unless extreme cases like 10cm distance also cannot focus, then it might be a defect.
But still need some camera expert to clarify on this.

There is a physical limit to how close the actual camera can focus. Without a physical Macro switch, you usually cannot focus on anything closer than 3-4 inches or so.

i've had my sgs2 in a capsule casing since the first day i bought it. but on a whim i took it off yesterday and been using it "naked". it is really quite liberating, so slim and the back has a surprisingly nice feel to it. (unlike the sgs1 which always felt in danger of slipping when held without any casing)

bro angelo 1.5 that bad? was contemplating whether i should download and update it and after reading ur comments i think its wiser to stick with 1.4 for now. 1.4 aint giving me any problem and after deleting the apk file, the battery seems good as well.

Chart for hardness for sgp protector, they do scratch but its better the sp rather than ur screen.

Never had that before weird, does ur sgp sp comes with warranty card? All the new ones have a serial number for original and nearly all is cover by their warranty so if its original and defect u can get a new one from them.
