I never put to the speaker to the max as it just doesn't sound good. they really have to improve on the quality though.

Today my phone suffered a 15 foot drop and it bounced further down the stairs all the way to the bottom some more. Fortunately it survived! I am so glad I put back the soft case in now.

My A-gps starts acting up. I wonder if it is because I drop the phone. Any other similar problems or is it due to the latest Maps update.

If you think you will use a lot of 3G data better get the phone from Maxis. Otherwise just buy retail.

I just found out that for our phone we can straight away send unwanted calls to the voicemail. I think it is a very neat feature, no need to let it ring itself out to the voicemail. Is this a common feature for smartphones?

I can't figure out why when we try to take picture at dimly lit areas, it looks brighter through the eyes of the lens but when the picture is taken it looks so much darker. Is there any way to adjust on what you see is what you get? And does anyone's flash reflect back on you and the light blurring it when taking close up pictures with flash?

QUOTE(konakona @ Aug 27 2011, 02:35 AM) Even after adjusting the settings (white balance, EV, etc)? I find that Arc's camera is slightly better than Vivaz. I never use flash. Using flash to take picture is a no-no. Unless for real emergency. Yeah, very funny when having flash just sucks.I wish there will be a time that we can have DSLR with a phone. |

QUOTE(konakona @ Aug 28 2011, 01:09 AM) Maybe perhaps? I want to at least have the ability to change the f-n, ISO and what not. Taking pictures at a club kind of reflects the flash, making it has patch of white spots which spoil the pictures.Do not want. What does that mean? I have no idea why snapping pictures without flash is darker from what I see in the viewfinder. |

QUOTE(konakona @ Aug 28 2011, 04:16 PM) Of course, there's not enough light coming in to the camera. One trick that I usually use is to use EV, and white balance. It'll make the image slightly better. Though usually I'd avoid taking picture in poorly lighted area. I think it has something to do with the metering function. I really hope so. I remember that ad in a club about the ExmoR. What we see while trying to take a picture is what we will get in the picture. Then again this Arc ExmoR is quite nice. Can't wait for the panorama sweep. Then I can use it fully like I used Vivaz. |

The night scene mode needs to have super steady hands for it to work. Makes that option unavailable for me heh.

It is good news really. Looks like they have learn to optimize their phone software causing less battery drain.
