Those with unifi, can I ask for your kindness to upload your firmware files? Its in your seus folder somewhere.. I wanna make a ftf file as mine is bootloader unlocked, so need to update it manually through flashtool. Thanks

oh ok, i guess i hav to live with other region ROM lol.. now on O2 rom pre rooted

to eit any files on /system requires u to hav root access... for now there is no root available for locked bootloaders..

EErm hav u tried renaming the folder? Also look in the folder whether got any file start with dot. Like .media for example...

Someone mentioned b4 all ur data still intact when u update ur phone

Me prefer to hav a fresh install eventhough its a hassle

oh ok.thanks for the advice.yeah the case its very slim and classy.dont mind the camera button as I use touch screen.

Earlier batch comes with 2.3.2.. Don't know either latest batch they oledi updated it or not...

can't yet.not without unlocked bootloader..

Erm if you wanna unlock, you can't update your phone through seus.. So you might want to think again..

update using flash tool, learn more about it.but you need to depend on people though asthe files can only be provided by people with locked bootloader.like my case, I'm using o2 rom pre rooted by using people who uploaded the files on the internet.I'm on unlocked bootloader so I can't use seus

Yeah this is the one, wah dont know its so cheap.. Anywhere in the mines got sell this pouch?

People change this phone to other phone because of its single core..other than that I can say its a good phone... Its design is still the best imo..

disable the data plan..

go to settings > wireless and networks > mobile networks > data enabled (untick)

with this, ur data plan will b disabled..

btw, ppl shud update to 2.3.3, it gives a huge improvement compared to previous 2.3.2..

btw, for those who r using mobo player, does it play almost all formats n without any issues? im using vplayer now n it plays most of the formats without any issues..

lol yeah, but i guess it will take a while for root will b available for locked bootloader..

Not quite a good advice, but if me, I will factory data reset my phone after I update my phone. Its quite a hassle to install again all the apps that we have previously but at least I feel my phone is like new again

hav u updated urs to 2.3.3? previous 2.3.2 got bugs where the own order will changed when the phone restart, dunno latest update fix it or not as i didnt put my icons to own order, juz alphabetically.. the ram is showing 211mb free because some of the ram is being used by the phone, thts all..

2.3 is gingerbread, so anything under 2.3 either its 2.3.2,2.3.3,2.3.4 is still gingerbread..

if u wanna check for update, u can either try by OTA, SEUS or PC Companion..

For now there is no root available yet for 2.3.3 unless you unlock your bootloader..

try check ur facebook settings on the net..

tht article was published b4 arc updated theirs to 2.3.3..

ppl from xda have tried gingerbreak 1.2 on their arc but no success..

if u successfully rooted urs using tht, thn by all means do tell us

thr r many arc owners waiting for tools tht can rooted their 2.3.3 without unlocking their bootloader as unlocking the bootloader will prevent u from getting software updates from SE..

rooting only is safe, if u dun meddle around without knowing anything bout ur phone..

btw, u can unroot back n thus ur warranty still intact if thts wat u mean..
