i've been suffering 2-3 times this week alone..

1. during phone call
2. idle mode

am on 2.3.4 (4.0.2.A.0.42)

Why your software version is 2.11.11.21? Should be version 2.11.10.7.
Just want to confirm, your computer access to internet connection during upgrading?

seriously i have no idea. now i turned it on and try SE PC companion. downloading
good thing it's a new phone so not much important data that i stored inside it

Update firmware by using SEUS or PC companion will not lose your data in the phone.
I never encountered data loses using both method. But for play safe, I still backup my data before update firmware.

just wanted to see what's new on the newest .42 firmware. been trying it for the last 3 days.

I tried PC Companion, currently it shown "Phone software update information currently not accessible". I think you need try next time.

I can used SEUS with no problem.

I,m Arc S User From Indonesia (peace, don't judge if i,m Indonesian, i,m Anarchist )

i was read at many forum and found the same trouble , it's not from the software , but from the hardware , i think because have the slim body, the battery in arc S is possible to get high temprature and make my phone down, it's any idea to make my arc better ? besides i must buy a Silicon Case for my arc (it's wasted beacuse arc have elegant design, and i dont like to change it)

Using it for few months, the battery temp doesnt really affect much. and its cooler than S2. You should check which app you installed is causing the prob.

but i don't install many program , only basic apps like go launcher , some widget and anymore,
My friends tell me It's better if i give a silicon case , but i think it will make my battery temp more increase

There are many factors that leads to a high battery temp.. If you are rooted, try uninstall some of those useless services that's running on background..
