QUOTE(stimix @ Feb 26 2013, 04:39 PM) Not sure where is this Genting Money Exchange located. thank you so much for ur re-explaination, i know u oredi explain very well. My exchange knowledge are very low, need a bit time to digest and I appreciate and will read until i understand it Anyway, I have explained many many times in this thread but since you insist, I explained again.. However the real gain you getting is minimal ~ RM30 saving for every RM1000 you change. As you can see..from Bank Negara rate Today, NT$ selling at RM10.497 http://www.bnm.gov.my/index.php?tpl=exchangerates That's the best rate BNM//and according to the earlier guy, he is getting RM10.89. The diff between BNM & money changer already RM0.40 for every NT100 you change. Meaning NT$ is not well traded here. (Anyway, you can get cheaper rate from Mid Valley at RM10.75 Today If you change to US$ let say RM1000 at 3.08 today, you wil get US$324. Similarly if you change to NT$ at 10.75, you will be getting NT$9,112 Today. If you change the US$324 at Tauyuen airport, you will be getting NT9,506 -NT$30 charge or NT$9,497 . This is better than you change similar amt in M'sia and getting only NT$9,112. You get extra NT$385 or RM38.50 for every RM1k you change to US$ thank you again |
