yes it is recommended. Alisan is located around the southern region of taiwan. taipei is at the north
yes its quite worth it IMO. something different than the usual tourist spots biggrin.gif

hi zstan,

let say my flight is in 24Mar til 2Apr,

so is it the recommend that i stay the first 6days in Taipei 1st , then only move to southern, plus alison n chiayi is it nearby

plus from southern to Tao yuan airport is it far?

i think you should do alisan and chiayi first since the travelling time involved would be much much more compared to travelling around taipei. Taipei u still can squeeze a few places to visit in one day as long as you have energy.

its pretty far but with bullet train the journey will be about 2-2.5 hours. though its not really cheap though.

roughly how much per ride

if got the hsr card , is it cheaper??

plus if i arrive about 3pm arrive to southern almost like 6pm already rite?

if i check in on 1 Apr about 3pm reach southern already like 6pm

2 Apr -full day

3 Apr full day

4 Apr check out and move to Taipei ,

i have 2 full days to utilize , other than Alison, what other places is nearby n is nice to visit

well alternatively you can settle down taipei on first day and do some light travelling and then go south early next morning. well u can visit gaoxiong or kending. just have a look at first page or do some googling there should be ample info about where to see.
*
means the 1st day i settle down in Taipei then the next morning book another room in southern like for 2days

den only back to Taipei like tat ah?

there are many ways that you can do this depending on your physical condition as well as your travel mates. dont need 100% follow my recommendation one.  smile.gif  but that's what i would do la. dont stress myself too much on my first day of arrival.

yalo .tats wat i been thinking cz 1st day sure more tired lo

Wu Fen Pu is a wholesale garment market and have food as well. I think someone posted here their pictures which is near Raohe nightmarket as well. So can do both at the same time

I'm staying in XMD as well. So I think the distance would be 15 minutes by MRT and walking there should be 5 minutes if I'm not mistaken

I'm not sure I can post links here but you can do this
Taipei > Yehliu > Jinguashih > Jiufen > Keelung Miaokou > Taipei
*
cz i will be staying one nite in jiufen..so early morning wil go jiufen n check in n walk there till nite ...the next day will check out n go to yehliu ,n drop by to keelung , not so sure is it okie?
