Hey guys, before I explore through all 53 pages, can someone give quick advice? I will be on family trip on June. I will bring my parents to following places on first week: Hualien, Sun Moon Lake, Alishan, Taichong, Taipei. Afterward they will be flying back to Malaysia while I'll stay there for few more days. Apart from above places, where else do you think are must-visit spots? Thanks.

Does anyone know the single room rate at Taichung? Most of the rate stated at roomsasia ranges from RM100+ to RM300+, not sure if this is fair range. Any recommended hotel/inn there? Most of the time I won't be in hotel so don't have to be too nice. Thanks.
