Hi, I have been reading the thread for sometime now. I am new to LYN, yet somehow an old horse when it comes to comics. A little background on me, started reading comics during the marvel Secret Wars right up to the split of the creative genius at Marvel and the formation of Image comics. I have started only seriously collecting comics in the late 80's and stopped after it got ridiculous with all the variants cover and a whole pages with only two panel, hence the 2 books a week churned out by most studios.
However, with the recent launch of the ipad HD, comixology is just a 'must' app for me. I am aware of the difference between the physical copy and electronic, but hey, reading comics for its art and story is still the same fundamental. Not too mention the price, storage and immediate gratification fulfilled with a single click.
Now that the whole Marvel/DC universe is at a reboot stages, any good recommendations?

QUOTE(evoHahn @ Sep 4 2012, 01:27 AM) iinm amalgam universe was one off. btw nowadays certain marvel titles have redemable online code. amalgam was the last straw for me when it comes to alternative universe. :-) dang, I would never believed you 5 years ago that one day Marvel would have redeemable codes for online stuff. Since my first post, I have managed to pick up the walking dead volume one to four on comixology. ;-) Slowly but surely i'll get back into comics reading/collecting. Btw, is the mind shop still around damansara?

QUOTE(evoHahn @ Sep 4 2012, 11:06 AM) yeah, the shop is still there, the only branch left. oh i would like to suggest to you Waid's DD (excellent comic ) and if you dont want continuity heavy comics, try Marvel's Ultimate line. Ill take a look at Waid's DD. Back to the silver age then. The only The Mind Shop branch in existence? The last branch I went to was in StarHill. A long time ago. ;-) How come I cannot find them online?
