thanks for the link to devilcomics. I have been looking for a shop that sells singles. I too have been collecting batman comics (99% of them are first prints, hardcover included) since the late 80s until mid 2005. Also Wizard 1/2 special eds. That is when I couldn't find any shops left in the klang valley area. So i have stopped buying comics since then, except the odd one or two in kinokuniya. Maybe I will start again since i now know where to get them locally.
I used to order overseas but then the customs got all finicky and started to "look" at the comics brought into the country. Two issues of Moon Knight that I ordered were banned due to violent content. Rumour at that time was that one of the comics shop tried to bring in Playboy mags (inserted between the comics) and was caught when customs did a spot check. After that all comics shipment has to be presented to customs for inspections. Dunno true or not.
This coincides with the time most comic shops closing down due to late/cancelled delivery.
