QUOTE(maah @ Jun 29 2013, 02:49 PM) Finding one over there ? maybe you can only get the Mandarin or Malay comicsBut American stuff, hard luck. Closest is Singapore, back then i buy stuff from either 1. Comics Asylum (last i know was in the plaza in front of Wisma Atria) 2. Alaric Collection (last i know was in the plaza called Pinnacle or something similar) 3. and the one in Bugis Shopping Mall (beside Kino) But in Johor ? i dont think so That is why i move to KL |

there is always market for these remarked items but
not to those items that are specially made out to a particular person this will actually devalue the actual object unless of course your name matches the name |

QUOTE(munchoong @ Aug 1 2013, 08:56 AM) LOL... what do I know? I actually like Rob Liefeld's artwork ever since I bought New Mutants annual # 5 back in my primary school days me have his youngblood mini signed, I'm still working on completing my Supreme and Brigade collections but sold all my new mutants and cable run a few years back. funny thing is i bought the lot at a comic con, line up to get it signed and a chap offered me double for the lot so i just sold |

QUOTE(munchoong @ Aug 1 2013, 11:29 AM) Wah lao! Complete runs of Jim Lee autographs on Superman and Batman?? Damn! That must have been some expense and dedication right there. Friends in the US of A and Canada. But each signature cost about USD20. Problem is no money to get CGC graded I don't think I'll ever have anything like that... although I have the Marc Silvestri signed and numbered CyberForce Kickstarter HC to look forward to in a few months' time. |

The only TOP COW signature are from Darkness Vol 1 Issue 1 Black Cover, Witchblade #1, Cyberforce Mini 1 - 4 and the return to Marvel in one of the X booksI don't think I'll ever have anything like that... although I have the Marc Silvestri signed and numbered CyberForce Kickstarter HC to look forward to in a few months' time. |

my fav comic 3d cover is the one with wolverine showing the insides of his adamentium exo skeleton which i believe for his 50th anniversary issue.
the other sorta 3d me likes are the classic lady death silver and gold and the pugatory ruby red covers. the ahem parts pop out as they should |

QUOTE(Anespian @ Sep 10 2013, 06:02 PM) 90's were the boom of comic collecting or flipping. Still can recall so many of those '1st issues' with comes in special covers /features eg two-fold covers, die-cut, emboss, 3D, prism, hologram, polybagged, with trading cards, Glow in Dark. What else have I missed? Still have some of them...for sentimental reasons hand drawn sketch variants, black and white and Evil Ernie's coffin shape cover |
