guys, how do you take high picture with high shutter speed in low lighting without using flash ? I've already set the ISO to auto (up to 3200 with min SS 1/30), but it is still underexposed. in this situation, the auto ISO wont work ?

QUOTE(Agito666 @ Jun 6 2011, 07:42 PM) QUOTE(ComradeZ @ Jun 6 2011, 07:44 PM) either bump the iso or grab the flashgun. I'd go for the flashgun as it will come in handy for the most part at indoor shots QUOTE(geekster129 @ Jun 6 2011, 07:54 PM) f/3.5 is just too small, fast prime lens is there for a reason (fast means you can shoot at higher SS at low light condition). Between f/3.5 and f/2.8 there is already 2/3 extra stops which is close to double the amount of thank you very much for the explanation, guys light you can get. At f/1.8 you can get 2 extra stops. during weekdays, I only got the chance to shoot indoors. only on weekends can do outing. now I know what to get at end of this month (50mm 1.8G/SB600) |

just had a bad experience with Foto Selangor.
so I went to the shop at 3.00pm to buy the new 50mm f/1.8G and this malay girl says that currently theres no stock. Then later comes this towkey (with glasses) confidently says that new stock will come this 'petang'. The malay girl then write down my phone number and says that she will call me if stock arrives. I asked her at what specific time will the stock arrive, she says 'dunno lar, but this petang lar'. So okay then, I will hang around at Sogo till she calls me. waited for about 4 freakin hours till 7.00 pm and still no call, I went back to the shop and confront with this another towkey(eye problem). He says theres no such thing as restock on Friday. WTF?! the malay girl also gone already. Couldnt find the 2previous towkey so I said to him that I was told restock this 'petang'. Come on lar, 'dulu cakap lain, sekarang cakap lain'. If stock wont come on that day, at least call me lar. Now I just wasted 4 hours of my life hoping to get the lens by today. bloody hell, their service is crap but the price is defintely nice.. 50mm f/1.8G for RM650. Do you guys prefer buying stuff from shop with bad service & good price OR great service & albeit expensive ? |

QUOTE(gnome @ Jun 25 2011, 01:06 AM) Sorry to hear that bro but so far i've never experienced anything like that. Just yesterday bought a Tenba Messenger Bag from them but then I usually try to deal with the uncles instead of other staff since they're the one who can nego kaw-kaw maybe I had bad luck yesterday. but its true, at first the girl mentioned RM680, then somehow the uncle intervene and says RM650 instead. maybe they miscalculate the restock time (old people habit). So yeah, uncles = discount |

just bought the new 50mm f/1.8G from Foto Selangor today.. restock at noon with only 5 on the shelf. When I bought it at 4.00 pm, only got 2 left. price is at RM650. sells like 'goreng pisang'
the towkey called me at 3.00pm and kindly reserved one for me. previous bad experience was prolly 'miscommunication'. |
