85mm could give u better compression in bokeh,

while 50mm 1.4 is just so-so in APS-C... not near also yet not far as well sweat.gif

yup, i agree this " not near also yet not far “
so i skip de 50mm f1.8D or 1.8G although heard that this 1.8G new and havening nice bokeh.

but go through de review said that 85mm f1.8 not sharp at f1.8 to f2 and f2.8.... it's better after f4 and f5.6..
not like the 35mm f1.8 can get sharp from f1.8 onwards... rclxub.gif

is Tamron SP90 f2.8 another better choices?

That is why, best to go with ambient light wohoo! xD

Sigma 50 f/1.4, the price is very expensive; Do you really need the 1.4? If not, you can get the new Nikon 50mm f/1.8G at less than half the price, and it sharp wide open; For the price and performance, it's easily better than the 1.4, unless you really need the 1.4 or you have the $$$ or you're earning from photography.

thanks andy for de comment.
actual i choose the 1.4 is for low light and also better bokeh/DOF.. drool.gif
somehow, sigma 50 1.4 and 30 1.4 got much good review on it, even sharpness also laugh.gif
