- Download ROM and place it on your SD card
- Format Data / Format Cache
- Go to ADVANCE menu > Wipe Dalvik Cache & Wipe Battery Stats
- Go back and select "install zip from sdcard"
- Select "choose zip from sdcard" & point the location of .zip file

err, that 3D effect only applicable to full Sense 3.0. And ViVO using Sense 2.1

Ya, should be ok ...my recommendation would be flash CM7 first with stock radio (which i bolded there)...if got weak signal and also battery drains quite fast, then most probably you can change radio

**but capy before this already mentioned about flashing radio actually won't affect the performance much, what more important is flashing the correct RIL for the radio

Well, FYI i am using the same baseband (stock radio) and been running quite fine with MIUI 1.6.3, ViVo Sense 3.1.1, LeeDroid 3.1.2, ARHD 5.1.9, Virtuous 1.0 (just tried last night) and CM7...all got good signal and battery drain is normal

i think you better you wait awhile cos most likely virtuous will update their rom tonite. but is no harm to download the existing one just for backup but don't flash first la

the recommended radio is 12.54 but u can still use the existing radio, just remember to flash the RIL

You download Virtuous 1.24.0 ah..? I guess you better cancel first because latest version will be release today (but donno what time, maybe evening or this night).

Can try MIUI, good also.

that's why la.. Now already had LeeDroid v3.1.7 but lazy to flash LD, just keep as backup rom only. Hehe

flash ril using clockwork also... same as flashing firmware... simple...

MIUI = xxmb file size (Can finish download faster and flash faster)
Virtuous = 3xxmb file size (Finish download longer than MIUI, and got latest update soon)

If I want to flash something now, I skip older version virtuous download and download MIUI and play play with it until tonight than flash latest ver. of Virtuous. 

Flash RIL after you flash rom. Flashing a RIL is same like you flash a rom.

actually miui is quite interesting especially the lockscreen, while waiting for virtuous mayb you could download and flash it first since the size is small

don hv to worry too much. as long as you follow the step correctly, nothing will happened. those day i oso sked like hell but now seems very easy

I'm still hoping got really stable MIUI build for dhd.... My good old HD2 is already permanently on MIUI... damn stable... but on dhd still got some FC and problem with other software...

Try MIUI latest version already ..? Monza said no FC etc etc. There is another person said no FC, but I forgot who.
