technology should evolve together.. I'm cool seeing Apple taking this move, as our Android used to steal, copy, embrace, adopt (you name it..) what great innovation Apple has came up with so far.. so its pointless to claim who copy who etc.. so long as it benefits us consumers

I think it's great wat.. using a hard-button is more intuitive than faking it on the screen IMHO

On RCMix_HD_5.x

sometimes the SMS cannot be sent.. when this happen, no matter how many times u hit 'send', nothing happens... this is very annoying..
is this RCMix_HD_5.x bug or is it Gingerbread bug?

which ROM with sense 3.0 is stable and smooth?

Virtuos link is down.. while waiting for the link to recover i downloaded MIUI 1.6.10 to experience AOSP ROM for the very first time..

to my surprise, it took me less than 2 mins to flash the MIUI rom and boot into lock screen.. i guess the MIUI rom is kinda small compare to sense-ROM huh..

will play MIUI for a few hours now and hope that Virtuous is coming back up later

from the side-view... it's kinda thick ler....

double the thickness of our phone.. its like stacking up 2 DHD together..
for emergency charge ok lar.. not so suitable for daily use as protection case lo IMHO...

price is fair.. but size does matter..

look at the side-view picture with mini-usb port..
the thickness of it is like u can have 5x mini-usb ports stacking up there..

just have a peek into my DHD, the most we can have there is about 2.5x, so i guess it will double the size..

I hope my interpretion is wrong so i can have a sexy case + portable charger for USD60 too

Just found the thickness in its technical spec section..

our DHD height is 11.8mm
the PowerSkin height is 21.3mm

it's ok if u find a cm doesnt make a difference in ur palm... USD60 is a good buy..
but a cm means a lot for me..

on MIUI 1.6.10 now.. feeling great
much much better than RCMix HD that i flashed 2 months ago..

will stick with MIUI for some time then move on to Virtuous for sens 3.0~

just wipe cache and dalvik cache and good to go~

Hey, anyone got nice car holder to intro? I need a new one to replace current faulty one..

i would prefer those can hold our DHD firmly, and easy swivel when we're driving the car..

my current car holder very hard to swivel between portrait/lanscape mode and adjusting the angle.. cumbersome..

everytime i flash a new rom, i fall in love with my DHD again~
with the refreshen UI, theme, features, eye-candies etc.. it makes me feel like i'm having a new phone again~!!

Currently a happy MIUI user now

On MIUI 1.6.17, so far so good!
Didnt encounter FC so far, except Angry birds/Aldiko failed to launch after restoring apps from MBR.. just re-install them would solve it..

Here's a few things i like about MIUI:
- Beautiful UI (YES! I Love it!)
- Comprehensive theme manager (which includes Boot Animation, Lockscreen, Status Bar, Icon, Wallpaper, Font etc, u can almost customize anything with it!)
- Silky-smooth system, didn't experience any lag so far, and page transition is superb smooth!
- 8 page transition effects to choose from, all of them works great and pretty smooth
- Stunning music player widget with auto lyrics download support
- Support graphic/percentage/top-bar battery indicator style
- Accessible to Dialer and SMS on the lock screen
- Try this >> In lockscreen, hold down the home button, Torch-light will on! It goes off the moment you let go your thumb on home button (This is very convenient, for instance, looking for your seat in cinema)
- Data monitor, watch your data usage and make sure u dun use exceed the quota. Supports auto disable data when exceeding threshold.
- << More to add. No time to write now. Off to TGV watch Super 8 now.. LOL >>


A few things that missing in MIUI:
- Sense! (You gotta trade-off Sense for using this awesome ROM )
- GPS, you will need Papago! or Sygic Aura etc
- Gallery a little dull.. need more improvement on this


All-in-all, a very nice ROM to have that comes with stunning UI + comprehensive tools that help you get rid of a lot 3rd party apps!

but so far rmvb,mp4, even HD all playing smooth like butter on my device
