@snoopy,
You mean you install the driver after flashing Virtuous rom? When I was in RCMix 1.4 i install the driver for CF3D, nothing happened, then i backup my data and restore the CF3D when flashing RCMix 1.5 and Virtuous rom. I tot after restoring everything da driver is still there. I will try it out later |

QUOTE(hyschara @ Jun 16 2011, 10:50 AM) hey guys, i read in the front page that there's a version 1.8 firmware that is unrootable. Is it rootable now? software number 1.8 still can be rooted by downgrading it first. My manager just gotten a DHD via DiGi and it is still on Froyo with 1.8I'm thinking of getting a dhd finally. Should it come with gingerbread or froyo still? And how do I check what firmware version is on the phone? QUOTE(freak @ Jun 16 2011, 10:59 AM) does anyone have any idea how much is the original battery for desire HD? How do you define fast? i need to get an extra piece...battery dies off too fast. FOC method...root your device and install custom rom...those who rooted all hv better battery life compare to stock ROM Added on June 16, 2011, 11:10 am QUOTE(mushashi87 @ Jun 16 2011, 11:09 AM) What problem you faced? Just to check 1) When you choose tethering, is there a prompt box to choose window or mac ? Did you click on window? 2) Is your laptop installed with all the required drivers? @storm wat is ur setting oh? any radio? leedroid should be very battery efficient...any apps you run that cos high consumption (like talkbox voice messenger) @snoopy I install da driver throu CF apps itself. Tegra2 games running fine and gallery also ok. I'm on v1.8, not sure if version number got anything to do with it. You try to PM bro syuki and ask if he encounter the same issue |

@snoopy,
Luckily I hvn't update it to 1.9 yet. Try out and let us know @mushashi87 Originally the window is ticked by default, did you re-click on the window? cos if you choose cancel or back button then tethering won't work. That is wat i encounter those day |

@terry,
wat 3D effect you are referring to? If you are referring to the carousel effect of moving between screen yes, because TBF3D has ported the rosie 3 over. |

I just flashed LeeDroid 3.1.6 kernel. Ignoring the Daemon script and use SetCPU & SmartAss2 combo, and guess what?
Super smooth and no lag at all I not sure is a placebo effect or what but it is tad faster than using the Daemon OC script. Charging the phone now and will monitor the battery how it goes. |

@stranger
Wat i did is I flash atz-007 mod fr Virtuous thread to get the advance Quick Setting. After that I flash biffa mod fr RCMix to change the status bar look as I prefer the Gingerbread green icon and green overscroll effect + transparent notification bar. So what i get is as below CAUTION : Chrisch fr Virtuous thread oredi mentioned not to flash any mod fr RCMix as some of their framework is different. It could hamper on the system. Flash it on your own risk. Remember to clear Dalvik and cache just for in case. So far I didn't encounter any problem @terry Yes. You just flash it like normal but remember to mount data/system. After that clear cache and Dalvik @snoopy Virtuous 1.5? or RCMix 1.5? This post has been edited by WiLyi: Jun 16 2011, 06:02 PM |

@Ryu,
As mentioned by Storm, just flash it the normal way you flash your ROM via CWM. Mount data/system prior to flashing. DHD by default is 1GHz speed. Custom kernel allow you to overclock your frequency to achieve better performance and underclock it while idle to preserve battery life. This can be done through SetCPU. After flashing, remember to clear cache and Dalvik EDIT Frequency is depending on you. With LD kernel is able to achieve up to 1.8ghz, but don't use that, your device will be very hot and battery consuming. So far max i use is 1.2ghz is very smooth dy.
