Dear Samaritans

We are heading to Bt Cherakah Estate, Jeram,Kapar, Klang this 18 Jun 2011. we need volunteers and feel free to contribute.

There are 30 families housed in simple house with basic amenities.

The estate workers are taken care of accordingly by the employers but each household have their own issues such as some alcoholism, families with too many children, single parents and the list goes on.

Due to all these unfortunate situations, the innocent children from this families are deprived and shortchanged. They have to sleep on floors, or on soiled mattresses, simple staple of rice with dhall & curry kept and eaten for a period of two to three days.
Despite all the shortcomings these children are friendly, with a big bright smile on their faces.

On 18 Jun, 'Ti-Ratana Meals on Wheels' will be heading on to Ladang Bukit Ceraka Estate Jeram Kapar , we invite you to join us to visit them for a sharing and caring luncheon. We will be lunching delicious vegetarian food together with 300 friends there.

It was an eye opener and a it was an experience whereby I wholeheartedly encourage all to see and experience it yourself.

Hi.. I went through the link, so now you are looking for volunteer or contributor for those items mentioned in the link? I'm mainly interested in both way so appreciate if you could send me more details.

Hi , u can participate in both. If you wish to volunteer that day, meet us at our centre on Sat 18 Jun by 9am. We need ppl to upload things to our lorry. The we shall convoy together.

If you wish to contribute goodies, here's the list

1) 50 Packs of cooked rice (put in the disposable plastic container) (we needed 300 packs...250 packs already taken)
2) 100 Multivitamins or even Vitamin C
3) Pre-Loved Clothes (children & adult) separate n label them. No USED inner wear.
