My friend: Worked on the 3rd week of Nov 2010, got salary on the March 2011.. after being chased and pushed.. imagine how much my friend spent on making calls n smses?

My cousin: Worked on the 1/1/11 n 2/1/11, dont even get his supervisor & promoters salary till TODAY for GAB and Nando's events! Internal blaming on each other.. Jimmy blamed Nick, Nick so cool, he blamed the Cash deposit machines saying they are all out of service! Cool so cool!

They are trying to con you!

used to it , they pay 100-120 perday, but rm 20-30 will be used on sms and phone

it is basically a company that act as an agent or promoter for products. They will get money from their customer and the money should be paid to their workers. I believe they manage the company badly. Bad cashflow, that's why owe so many ppl...

Yaya hehe i know how to read n its what i am doing right now, i feel sorry to this friend n cousin as i am the one who ask my cousin go work for my fren who work inside.. I dont think ppl dare to work for them d, even my fren who vry responsible cant work with these irresponsible people..

Ya vry bad cashflow, and irresonsible staffs.. my fren work there at event department, so i thought of helping her when ahe approach me to fins promoters n supervisors, she dint know their account department so bad, now my frien left the company, so i started to do all these things emailing them defame them, they make me approach such steps, they dont wanna bother u no matter how angry you are, end up the boss read my email only he know these staff didnt do their jobs in paying salaries..

Normal lar... Freelance promoters don't get paid, or paid less than promised, delay payment... Heard a lot of stories.

No black and white, or proof of working. Agent can run away and you got no ways of proving yourselves. Consider the fact that they pay you - It's already a bonus.

One of the risks in taking up freelance jobs.

Which is why back then, I tend to be very picky in my jobs. No choice lor.

yeah i believe sometimes it's quite tough to get pay from your employees, and even for foreigners, their pay is all up to date in my company

Ya too many of such agent, i worked for another agent which u could actually get ur salary 2 weeks later of ur working..Which is quite good.. I posted this up just to let ppl aware of this company, one of those irresponsible companies..

for small claims, u can only lodge against another individual (not a company or agent of company) for claims less than RM5000.
send a consumer complaint report at any mahkamah. form is FREE but to lodge a complaint is only rm5 or sthg very minimal like that. not more than rm20.

ya dont work with them.. i waited for 9 damn months for my salary to be issued also..keep giving lame excuses like acc not done yet, havent close acc.. in the end i call straight to the product's company that is being sampled and thank god within 1 week's time i got my long awaited salary..

the best possibly is to call the product companies, coz i am sure those product companies already paid deposit or in full to ape ideas, otherwise how ape ideas willing and has the money to support the ongoing promotion, events n etc? big chances that the product companies will clarify the situation with ape ideas and then more or less ape ideas will feel threaten coz they alrdy have bad impression..

Because doing business is all about money, receive the money and keep it longer before paying out is what kept them rolling, some door to door sales used to pay by daily, maybe they found a better way to stall, cover themselves first.

hhmmm, you guys should prepare a negative brochure and hand it to the public....in such, people will be aware and this news will spread very fast from mouth to mouth...

May I ask, did anyone tried calling the office? or only their supervisor?

The standard payment terms is 2 months. If your payment is delayed, it's most probably has been missed out. We apologies for that. Please do understand Ape Ideas manage 300-500 promoters monthly and there will be time where payment are left out.

For your information, some supervisor have also left & there was no way for us to contact the promoters.

May I suggest you to contact Sue (Account Dept) at 03 78036085 during normal biz hour.

Let her know your particulars & project involved. She'll be more than happy to prepare your payment. we manage track those missed out payment, and those case was solve, some didn't.

if your friend didn't get the salary yet, call office.

After that, come back here and post your tq to me. (or buy me drink - only girls allowed ) .

I worked for GAB project and now uniform still in my house. I called the supervisor totally no answer, sms no reply and also email!! You can dont want your uniform but i want my salary!! What should I do now? First time meet this kind of thing!! I am so regret now I should do research before i accept the job!!

If you are not paid for such a long time up till 9 months, how are you going to survive without income for so long?

lol, just go to nearest labour office and sue them, they need to compensate you more, thus you can save on phone calls and sms, and get more $$.

same case here!!! my friend and i work for them for October Festival. until now cant contact the supervisor and cant give back the uniform and punch card. i dont even know the supervisor name. his contact number is 016-254 4380. i got email to GAB company regarding the salary problem. and their reply is they will forward my case to APE IDEAS SDN BHD . so speechless.

My friend worked there last time. She lasted 2 months only. She always got harassed by the part timers because of the late payment. She could not bear it anymore so she just quit. Even she also have to chase her own salary. They recently moved to Dataran Prima. One word: do not work with them at all. All empty promises.

Usually that not the case. You may try but the best person to contact is the Account Dept of the event company. For any event company, if payment is delayed, contact the company direct.

to be frank, i didn't work there but i worked in parent company, JD Media. when i joined permanent, everything seems fine until a week or two later, i found out most of my coll didn't get any EPF. one of the seniors, 4 yrs working really pissed about this company cuz been 1 yr plus no EPF input. he was terminated for the reason he purposely didn't do well and also very rude to the superiors. he wasn't like this before.

and about APE Ideas, similar to the case of JD Media. (the male boss is JD Media and his wife lady boss is APE Ideas.) we got voice talents also, never get paid. i only work there till this yr's end January because after my senior left, my work became doubled, and my team manager expect me to answer calls since no HR staffs anymore by then. (they quit because they already know what all the shat happened in this company.) and do charity work without getting decent pay (using my professional skills cost money you know!). once there's a meeting, asking about the solutions to make the company better. i voiced out hiring more staffs, because so many things to do, and what my boss reply, "CUT COST"... i never think further more and the following day, i helped them "CUT COST" by resigning... sure i work continue more i don't get any more benefits, probably ended up having pay delay issues from them...

some managers still hang around cuz making good money, but troubles still dwells because they have to take others responsibilities already.

i think and i hope this can be pinned up. whoever involved of getting a part time job or permanent, think about not getting the jobs from:

I just worked at July with another friend for Dutch Lady milk.
Firstly got the female agent handle us but before the day started,
she sms me said she resigned...
i was...
then pass my project to another guy agent,
they both like keep the company name secretly,
do not let us know, and tell me is Kinjo,
but when we get the softcopy just realise is APE IDEAS.
the guy agent promised to pay us within one month,
but not yet received now...
and can't call him sms also not reply...

Ape Ideas already change the company name to "Aptitude Event Management" already. Because i having the same problem they keep delay the payment so i start search about this company background and i found the name Ape Ideas is a old company name and i found this thread.
So just beware of this another name of Ape Ideas 'Aptitude Event Management' which located in Dataran Prima in PJ.
