The reason i choosed this casing is because it can hold 8 x 3.5". The gap between harddrive is reasonable for airflow. Since I will configure storage as raid, the HDD temp will be high  Besides, I was planning to placed a hotswap backplane at the back of HDD tray, so I can easily swap the HDD in case of raid failure. last week i went to Lowyat Plaza...
got Fractal Design Arc Midi And Define XL Black Pearl on shelves in All IT Hypermarket.... the price for Arc Midi is RM479 (dunno can nego or not) the price for Define XL i dunno coz dun ask.... it's a sleek and simple looking case with great airflow..also much wider compared to almost common cases around.... |

arc midi r2 is really a good case. everything was well design. but too bad there is only 2 5.25" drive bay. i 'm gonna use xspc dual bay pump/res, so there's no more room for dvd drive (guess who use it nowadays?

Can any owners of Define S tell me their experience with the case? what are the pros and cons of it?
I'm thinking of buying it to replace my old pc case and I just want to be prepared for any shortcomings of the case. |

It is a good casing but if you might need cable extender to extend ur cables just in case your psu has short cables. Overall it is a good case, the built quality is acceptable for its price.

reporting in...did not have a chance to view the actual casing but bought it eventually....love the sound dampening material and also the dust filters... fits my main 2 criteria....silent casing and as much dust filters as possible... One of the main reason why I go for noctua instead of corsair h100i... if you install the radiator at the top then got gaps and dust sure can go in....

This is my current progress. Planning to replace the stock cooler with Phanteks TC14PE, but i cannot change the air flow of the TC14PE due to the motherboard orientation. If i use it, it will mess up the airflow inside the case.

Sharkoon have the best mod case for mini, sharkzone C10 or QB one. Gud for newbie & pro, easy access panel & well ventilated. Fractal to expensive and mostly aesthetic but function wise.....Hmmm

I've just ordered mine. This is a mini Itx case. If u checked my sigi im a portable gamer . I always outstation and will stay few month i miss my game especially steam game. I dont have much space to put games if i cary laptop. I rather make my laptop for work purpose only. The reason i choose this case is the simplicity of upgrading it and it gives me alot of option while being small and lighweight. Depends on your setup. Any hotel have tv and mostly HD.
- Psu wise i recommend getting silverstone itx psu its small and modular its the size of my palm. I don't believe it at 1st but when i got it damn....nice psu. No more BIG monster CPU on my table or under my feet. |

Bought Fractal Design Meshify C on Friday at Topmaid. Upon checking at home realized they forget to put top dust filter. Damn it, now waiting for Topmaid reply, they said they need to ask Sun Cycle first. Anyone have a same problem like me?
