Does this require sharpening in order to fit? or just plug n play?

from what respon from my customer. they told me some hole is perfectly fit in. while some hole need do some modification..

hI BRO, KOK KOK KOK SOUND is come from caliper there.
reason why the sound will occur because the brake caliper wear and tear ,caliper hole will bigger than original size ,so the clearance between the caliper pin and caliper hole is too large , knocking will occur when driving on uneven road.

i don have own picture right now.. maybe will try to take it next service on my car then i try take it.. okie?

Added on September 15, 2011, 9:23 ammy meanning of kok kok kok sound is not when turning.. is when going tru uneven road or the yellow strip.. then the kok kok kok sound will appeaer.. while if u pressing brake at the same time kok kok kok sound appear.. then the sound will disapear.. which mean the sound come from the caliper..
hope u understand my explaination ya..

regarding ur problem, i heard it b4. but tat is not caliper problem. if not mistake, is the steering linkage sound / bearing sound.

Hi, i had been told that each side of Myvi got two caliper (upper & lower) and we only need to change the lower caliber will solve the issue. Is it correct? or better change them both (upper and lower).

this is oversize pin or the pin which is come with O-ring.
our car produce knocking sound when we go tru uneven road / surfaces due to the extra spaces within the caliper pin & caliper.
normally ppl only fill in greese which is only temporary solution will last for a weeks only.

my solution offer bigger pin / pin with O-ring which fill up the gaps & fit the caliper pin hole.
minimum gaps which mean there will be less knocking sound compare stock one.

try it & u will know it..

hi Louis, both 8.1 mm pins cannot fit in.. Only the 7.9mm pins can fit in. So only 2 lower pins are changed. I asked the foreman in tyre shop whether can skim the 8.1mm pins but he said after skimmed, the pins will still has abit of 'gap'... Anyway, the "klurk klurk" sounds is not so obvious ady, but still can hear a bit intermittently.... How come the 8.1mm cannot fit in huh?hmm...

if not mistake, normally we installl 8.1mm on the lower pin and upper pin with the 7.9mm with oring.
beside, i think the foreman is lazy to do it as while we grind.. we grind it slowly and match the hole first before we direct grind to the small size..
gap is sure have as we little clearance to let the pin move in and out smoothly to prevent jam brake.

beside, can know today u install by urself or by the foreman?

The 8.1mm cannot fit in both lower and upper pin, so have to use 7.9mm on the lower pin for both sides... i let foreman do it because the wheels nuts of mine is very tight, i not able to loosen the nuts.

So now i have two 8.1mm pins available. Can i sell back to u?

did u had open the packing? if not yet then still ok. if open d then cant liao.. as u know la.. if sell open package.. my customer sure say i put 2nd item.. lol.. i think better u try to grind little n put it in to make it perfect.. as i dun think so is hard to DIY lo..
once u done.. i think ur car will totally eliminate the sound lor..
