Anyone know or experience with KMS activation? I got an error below, trying to activate Office 2010 but failed. I can activate Windows 7 without problem using the same KMS server. KMS server is not local which means reside in another country.

Added on May 25, 2011, 2:33 pmOk..found the problem and activated Office2010 in KMS..let me share with you guys below, I'm sure someone would benefit from this.

- Define KMS Server IP without the port # - ospp.vbs /sethst:<kms server ip> (no 123.123.123.123:3030) "this is where i got it wrong"
- Then set the Office 20101 product key (KMS product key) - ospp.vbs /inpkey:value
- Then activate it - ospp.vbs /act

From what I know if you get this problem something is wrong with the licenses, be it Windows or Office. Plus the version you are using is a volume license, most probably its already reached its maximum users or the key is already blacklisted in Microsoft lists. You might have just alerted BSA
