It is everything that I wished for it to be.
Hopefully they will be able to keep the same good stuff up for the rest of the series.

The mum dying part. I usually don't go for shounen fighting animes, stick to harem/school life based animes only. Decided to give this a try. But yeah, this anime is awesome.

Guess a way to describe is this series is not your typical shounen manga/anime which contains infinity nakama power.

I think the proper word is "depressing".
This series have plenty of that.

It's more of a seinen in tone.

Really disappointed that the group that did the scanslation just wipe the series from existence instead of telling ppl they've dropped them.

check there already, they never mentioned that they dropped it. in fact, they removed all the entries even before they released chapter 43 because of kodansha usa starts hunting for scanlations... besides, chapter 44 raw just surfaced in past 2 days, then can check if they really drop the series or not.

this show is good.
best enjoyed with some crunchy late night snack dipped in chili sauce.
