I've been barbell bench pressing 20kg at home for almost 5 months, should i buy myself some extra weights or wait for next year and ask my friends to buy me some for birthday present??? How fast will a normal skinny guy progress in bench pressing when i train 3x a week? If i buy myself 2x 10kg, how long will it last till i need to add more roughly? Anyone else got anymore alternative other then adding weights? how about resistance band like gym in a pocket? Please post your ideas if u have any, Thanks.

i can tell u the weights wont be enough for squats ,i hv 80kg i think is not enough for my legs. my leg is so easy to increase weights,
imo if u like this , the money wont be wasted .

you should be way above 20kg if you have been doing it for 5 months and 3x a week.

go and follow the routine. i went from 40kg to 70kg bench in 10 weeks. thumbup.gif

but now ive been strugglin to hit 75kg for almost two months now.
