last time i dl once which is dvd-mpeg with the highest quality over 1.x gb, and i thought that it was rip from those dvd rented from shop
when i watch it then only i know it's actually tv-rip's. omg, i spent 1 day to dl that.
though the quality is quite ok, but still, dvdrip is the best out of all.

i think he dl the dvd in mpeg format, no need to convert.

Now, there're even DVD-rips which combined 2 episodes into 1 file. They even had advertisements inside.
From what I saw, those (2 Episodes in 1 file) were ripped from Malaysian DVDs.

The problem with those Malaysian rips is that there're advertisements slotted in between the show.

i'm downloading a few files with dvd rmvb format
but most of them stopped at 99%
i waited 4 quite long but still no response
what am i suppose 2 do besides waiting?

If it's still seeded, you should wait.
You can try to pause the task and resume again to see if they're still downloading.

Yea.
In Nero, just choose burn vcd (assuming your are burning to a CDR)
And it will just calculate the file to ensure that its the right settings for mpg. Then it will start burning. Takes less than 20 seconds for the calculation.

If you are comparing those pirated vcd (movies) sold outside and the TVB vcd mpg, i can assure you that the one you download are indeed very good quality. Sound is great, pictures are clear.

I'm not so sure about this but i believe the tv ripper (hunting4you) records the series to his dvd recorder and then he converts it to dvdrip,vcd mpg, and mpeg2. That's why its clear to watch.

i'm getting mine from some china sites but some of those files were actually from malaysia coz can sometimes c that stupid vitamin commercial.. the china sites release quite fast like the same day but its tv-rip and sometimes its incomplete where u can feel some cuts have been made.... currently looking for new sources of pages...got any pls pm me coz can't post links rite...

yeah where do you guys normally find the theme songs for these shows... me is a MBC (Malaysian Born Chinese who knows nothing bout mandarin)
