I just finished playing CALL OF DUTY BLACK OPS (single player on hard level ) .
After a long 4 plus months ;-)

Well , I feel sad, and there are many things , I don’t understand,

I can explain it as our knowledge of the history of that 60s era , is so little . and it was a real cold war period.

I enjoy every moment in the game, and forgive me , I am not like many players who play the game on EASY mode, to finish it in 2-3 days.

Nice story line, which is still blur in many ways.

Does any CoD storyline actually make sense? No, it doesnt, other than the first 2. It has nothing to do with history at all, as it's just full of blowing up stuff. Treyarch said it is set in 60s, while the truth is, it seems more like 80s to me, where most of the guns in the game doesnt even exist even as a prototype back in the 60s.

It's just entertainment with an interesting twist in it.

The storyline is actually pretty good, compared to MW2 and MW. Other than that, its just another corridor shooter.

i was searching online about some of the names, like VERKUTA

where Reznov was captured , and it`s infact true

the last pix of JFK is infact real , where a similar to mason appear

also , if u focus in the end , the same lady is broadcasting the number,

the same lady appeared while mason is going to the Pentagonn ,

so give u the idea, there is a rat inside

also , give u a hint that Mason killed JFK , according to russian plan

and it`s all mentioned in wikipedia COD b ops.

i am planning to read more about that era

i really respect treyarch , and all giant name like EA,

as they are making for us , games that mature the mind

not those stupid online games, as now all the teenagers are addicted to play

it with no brain at all

I only know Mason killed President Kennedy at the end, cause his "brainwash" wasn't cured.

Actually, no one really cares about the single player. Move on to Multiplayer.

for the 1st point , it`s mentioned that there are 2 or 3 shooters, at JFK .

but in COD B.OPS , i like the story line, that really attract me, and i feel really into the game
also enrich me, by more historical info

lol, you think Black Ops is a good game to show the histories on 60s? LOL. It's just entertainment, not a history lesson. None of the stuff shown in the game is true. Even it's true, it's some controversies that no one could confirm it.

There are so many guns, vehicles, attachments and so on do not even exist during that era, while Treyarch just make it exist in the game 10 years before it actually come out in real life.

There is no red dot, no Famas and so on in the 60s.

Vertuka , the prison of mason , it`s real a camp miners city , which made a revolution 1945
also , when the russian launch suiess to the orbit ,

etc...........

SP campaign for just about every CoD is a joke.
Walk to place, trigger cutscene, walk to place, trigger QTE, next level.
You don't even need to shoot people, the only reason you die is because you're to HERP to avoid anyone.

Meh it's really great for an interactive movie yeah, I thouroughly enjoyed the Blops SP campaign for that.

Considering you take 4 months to finish Black Ops SP, where i took 7 hours across a span of 1 week. I am the slow gamer where i take more time to finish the game than average. You on the other hand, i would say, it's either you are too busy, pretty new to FPS or just plain dumb in following scripted objectives. I am thinking about the last one, as the stuff you said, doesnt really make sense at all.

Being at school doesnt mean you are a loser, and being a working man, doesnt mean you are the king of the world. Besides, playing games everyday doesnt make you a loser, and vice versa.

You need help.

btw TS finished hard mode already very good,
thats really hard and need patient to go thru the levels slowly

Black Ops taught you a history lesson? So based on that logic is it safe for me to say that MW2 is a prophecy?

HellHell, When I pick up a Call of Duty game, I look up to a few historical facts and a much more intense FPS experience then the last one, and boy o’ boy did I get that from Call of Duty: Black Ops, Hell ,yeah I did.
It was a sweet improvement on top of the last one. The range of weapons was something; I especially enjoyed the Dragons Breath. But to tell you the truth I expected more from the game, It surely did not disappoint me at all.
Now I am rearing to have a go at the Call of Duty: MW 3.

anyway, well I have to admit, Black Ops SP definitely has good storyline and actually made me think, while usually CoD SP series just shoot and go along with the story. For the first time I have to admit Treyarch actually did good stuff after their disastrous game previously.

Tried Multiplayer @ Blitzone. It's a big MEH. *back to CoD4 Promod*

EDIT: oh forgot to mention. this game's bullet registry in both SP and MP, FAILED LIKE ELEPHANT FELL INTO THE RIVER. yeah i know it doesn't make sense.

really emotional and take us to different eras like the 60s

How can a game on a fictional war can be emotional to anyone? It's obviously fake, with dozens of explosions on screen with Michael Bay style. The characters are just AI bots that do not promote any emotional attachment. Then, everything come together with an over the top storyline.

Sure, the campaign is great, but emotional? Definitely not. You need help, seriously.

I do agree that the storyline is awesome due to historical events...But there are some fictional events where is present and like cheese said..THE GUNS AND ATTACHMENT ARE GAY!!!!! How does the 60's produce some of the gayest attachment in the game lol...Thank goodness there is no heartbeat sensor...Great storyline..But dies off easily like a swatted fly..^^

Ghost is just a generic speechless character with a mask. And Mason, it's just a typical CIA agent/Soldier. Whats is so emotional about them dying?

It's just an explosive unrealistic game.

Haha...maybe some of us are too emotional when seeing good characters die? ^^...Yeah you are still true..A game is a game...Nothing to fret for a long time..

it`s a wonderful game,

graphics is superb,

story is magical ,

characters are so realistic

i really appreciate activision for this epic

although their Multiplayer online service is below EA

but still nice
