You might need third party software like "Cucusoft iPod to Computer".

It should be on your computer. How did you get it to the ipod in the first place?
The music sync is one way - computer to ipod. The exception is itunes purchases. Without syncing: File>Transfer Purchases
The ipod touch is not a storage device. It is designed to mirror the elected content from your computer.
What's more, you can refer this article about how to transfer or copy music from iPod to computer, which included an easy guide to work out that.
Cheers.

Yes you can, if you don't wanna use third party software (which sucks), you can use OpenSSH to transfer files, but it needs to be jailbrokem first la.

I use Save Tunes and Song Exporter Pro but it's no longer on free promo. There's Save Tunes lite version though. The only thing is can only export one at a time.

Try Tune Aid. It's only a 30 days free trial though and only limited songs. If you purchase it, then you will be able to transfer ALL the songs with just 1 click!
You get my drift? wink.gif

For iPhone or ipad users, if you want to transfer or backup data to pc or Mac computer, you can use direct data transfer tool, itunes doesn’t allow us to transfer the data directly, transfer music from ipod to computer, hope it helps.
