1) Pop out your iPad2 3G simcard into a mobile phone to receive sms. 2) Proceed Viber registration on iPad2 by downloading the app from app store and insert the given simcard phone number. 3) Click the send verification code and you will receive the code on your mobile phone. 4) Insert the code from the sms into your iPad2 to complete the registration 5) Pop out the simcard back to iPad2 5) Done

I don't have 3G, can I still use Viber? Viber requires an Internet connection: 3G or Wi-Fi need to be available.
that was taken from FAQ. i'm still waiting for my iPad so i cannot verify this.

All iPad regardless of 3G or wifi only can use viber. Wifi only iPad mar fan abit cos u need to use a prepaid or post paid ( assuming u not using iPhone main line) use that number to register your code for wifi iPad viber. I have both wifi n 3G iPads and are running viber.

Just register ur ipad viber account with a new existing h/p number, and the activation code will send to this number. It works on both wife & 3g version ipad

TS was trying to help but did not provide detailed explanation .. He not to be blame. He was merely teaching how to activate by receiving sms... But if u have swirlysms from cydia installed, you can skipp TS's guide. I believe he newbie la... U guys should also check viber site ma...
U need a separate number to register for your iPad if u r currently using iPhone. Both iphone and iPad will need separate number so that viber can identify the caller and receiver.. Tis is no brainer la,. How to use one sim number on 2 separate devices? Viber will only identify and associate with one number.
This is the advantage of having a 3G iPad, you can slot in a prepaid/postpaid sim and can call via viber if u have data package..

Hi Guys, I got a simple and smart way. Go to app store, look for Yes Life. Download it, register an account with number (they have trial version now 14days free Rm5) and log in. Then go viber key in the number you chosen when creating the Yes Life account and viber verification code will be sent there. And enjoy.
