Middle of June? Maybe you can expect newer model to be released and the price of N53SV might vary

Maybe you can try out at Serdang IT store? I saw few units left last week...

Last time I just bring along my lappy and the receipt to the SC. But they just scan the bar code even without asking me to show the receipt

me too....i don't have major issue as well, performance improved after upgrade the RAM to 8GB....except the system hang after sleep mode.....in overall i think is a good buy

PS: I'm not ASUS fans

actually i rarely put to sleep mode.....i just accidentally found this 'awesome' bug lolz

Actually in April ASUS website quote that there was a mistake on the pricing for N53SN and the actual price should be RM3499, so agreed that most probably EOLined is due to low margin......

Between, N53SN really like selling hot cake even after EOL, I only left 2 days for the thread and now it become 51 pages.....wow

Yeah i agreed, actually i was doing research for 5750G and Y560p initially, but N53SN v1 thread distracted me and end up i engaged with N53SN.....haha. I think that was the best value lappy for that time and i like the metal finishing compared to 5750G

oh yeah my lappy currently occupied with 8GB ram, will there be any improvement in performance/start up if i upgrade to 12GB?

Although you might think its a bit wasteful to upgrade to 12GB but since the RAM is so cheap and newer application keep eating more resources, who knows what will happen after 2~3 years?

Hmm....i never expect myself to be identified as 'lucky' person to get it haha.....anyway if u willing to wait there will be new model with greater spec to come out in 1~2 months i guess.....things is if u willing to wait

It could be any model besides N55SF haha....I have no idea what is that model but i just browse thru N55SF, spec wise the graphic card GT555 looks tempting.....but definitely not for design wise.....

oic....cuz the performance for my machine is better when i topped up from 4GB to 8GB

Oh yeah another thing, last time i bring my laptop to SC for keypad replacement, when i asked them to scanned my RAM, they said my RAM is not original from their manufacturer, did anyone encounter the same....mine is ELPIDA 2x2GB RAM

Im using U3, but it doesnt really cooling down the laptop....looks like the air vent is not from below but is from keyboard according to previous thread, so i guess no need to buy.....

Mine is U3 + external video fan so far so good

For normal game, GT should be enough already, unless u want to go for extreme performance. Besides, GT555M is another good choice :-)
