But SF model's so ugly

For me I look for style (love the curves of SN, which got me initially attracted to this forum), performance (doing a little modeling & simulation next sem, playing some games: COD Black Ops & some Phohotoshop-ing) and lastly if i can get 7200rpm on d HDD, that would really be d icing on my cake. Budget: Not more than 3.5K. DV6 looks nice, but then again I dun really support HP products anymore

Being so categorized as an 'IT expert' in University does have its perks, anytime anyone's lappie turns up a problem, chances are they will ask of my opinion to diagnosed the cause. From the past 3 yrs in uni, i have personally seen over 7-8 cases of Dell's laptop motherboard burned due to overheating, along the way, a few of my frens Hp have also gone down d drain after only 2 yrs of use (I think my main problem with Hp high end laptops are that I just feel that they are not reliable for the price they are selling. probably also cause by my current Compaq which is giving problem after 2.5 yrs: but then again I OC-ed mine for an extra 15% performance, so cant really complain much). RM3.5k for a DV6 without beats does sound kind of stiff, although the GPU 6770 GDDR5 is really something to shout out, i don't think its worth RM300 more compared to GT550 DDR3. But then again if u have the extra $$$, why not =)
