well, the problem is that if u r a total noob in tech, then the SN is not for u..
if u can uninstall stuff, u qualify to fix ur sn it mint condition
like previous post, sleep/ hibernate is win7 probs
hinge, speakers, screen probs, r covered by 2 yrs international warenty so as long ur not a martian itz all good~
minor probs and could be solved here, there r soo many SN users
if we cant solve, the shi-fu can solve since our thread is soo hot and visits it now and then~

wah long time i didnt come to this thread hahaha...gusy i have a question here...is there any n53sn user that truly installed 16GB of ram hahaha ...is it support and show that all the 16gb ram were use ??? im asking this coz my lect doesnt believe that n53sn can support 16gb ram he said can support up only 8gb haish

show him that u have 4 slot memory ram, then he will believe u.

There is a user in the previous V1. He installed 4x4GB Mushkin DDR3 1333Mhz.

He said is working fine. Doing a lot of VM so it suits his needs.

I'm on 8GB, occasional Crysis 2, Dragon Age 2, never hit 3GB RAM.

So...you get the idea. Get what you need. Not what you want.

I hate the fact Asus only delivers basic spec corei5 and corei7 N53 notebooks for Malaysia market. I wish there is a Full HD or Blu Ray or an option for backlit keyboard. Not many option though. -,-
