Anyway, some user claim that having 4gb RAM(default) is not enough so add till 12GB.
So 12GB + 2GB video memory= 14GB for rendering  . Should be quite smooth la

Better go for i7 cause max RAM for ONLY i7 is 16GB RAM

Was actually following your guide on the first page on faster loading =S

Quite a b**** removing these bloatwares, had trooubles with the APK things.

Also, had problems installing iTunes earlier. Hope my relationship with the new lappy won't be a sour one.

confirm i5 SV is 8GB while i7 SV is 16GB max.......

wah. finally finish reading 137 pages of forum thru the last 2 days. My eyes literally bleeding XD. Simon my man. V r in the same boat. I also need a new ASUS 15'' i-7 laptop by Sep when the new sem starts. Hopefully by then they will have i7-2720QM processors. Mean time, just got to wait lo. 2 months can make a huge difference =)

GPU/ Video RAM is basicaly related to screen resolution
It's not really important unless your connecting to 2 Ext monitor or using Graphic Design softwares...
For game actually 512mb of video memory already enough. Can play 1080p smoothly

For me I look for style (love the curves of SN, which got me initially attracted to this forum), performance (doing a little modeling & simulation next sem, playing some games: COD Black Ops & some Phohotoshop-ing) and lastly if i can get 7200rpm on d HDD, that would really be d icing on my cake. Budget: Not more than 3.5K. DV6 looks nice, but then again I dun really support HP products anymore

Opening is not a problem.

Is just that there are adhesive sticking that two things together..so after you remove it..hrm..good luck putting it back without the sound distortion.
