can anyone tell me why when a Muslim die, people say Al-Fatihah? google around and still cant found the answer.

Why dun u find the meaning of the words in al-Fatihah instead. That can help better.

isnt Al-Fatihah the first chapter of Al-Quran? the one that start with bismila... used to heard it everyday when i study at kemas kindergarten. but i still cant see the link between the two?
