i terminated my U68 package a couple of months ago as I was told by CS belatedly that the upload speed was only 50kbps max. Is this true? Even for the 42Mbps package?

I am looking ard for a DiGi replacement as my area suddenly drop coverage due to the removal of a transmitting site. sad.gif

back from last month, we have better upload speed, around 1Mbps all the time. From USJ21, Puchong, Bukit Jalil, to Desa Petaling. Tested Putrajaya, KL city all good upload speed.
U Mobile upgrade to HSPA+ already, so not like before, only get 0.1-0.2Mbps upload at some area.
Of course i believe it only apply to some Klang Valley, Johor, not all the places.

My phone ( HTC Desire HD, HSDPA 14.4 Mbps; HSUPA 5.76 Mbps)
can get 2Mbps-6Mbps ( highest ), UL 1-1.8Mbps.

Some user here said if you are using 21Mbps modem, you can get 10Mbps at least if got good coverage. And Some1 hit 20Mbps if using 42Mbps modem. Not sure on the upload.
So if you are using 7.2Mbps/2Mbps modem, you will get like my speed above.
I have tested on my huawei 7.2Mbps modem before.

I believe Digi still giving 1-1.2Mbps DL with 400-500kbps UL only since from they launch thier broadband/3.5G ( Actually they promote no speed limit for first time they launch( mean 14.4Mbps ), after few months later, they make it all the same. ( 700kbps/200kbps ).

I was using thier broadband back to 2009 ( 1 year ). Then terminated. Until now no improve at all. My wife is using smartplan all the time until now, i can say they still maintain it, or drop a little bit sometime on the speed.

Did you call 1318 from your phone?
If so, the Customer Service staff has your number on their screen when the line got through.  Don't worry

a 21Mbps mifi dont guarantee you higher speed, it still need to depends on what signal u get with the mifi, what area u using it in, and which signal tower u connect to, the tower congested or not and what time u use too,.. many factor,.

oh i agree... but i tested in in the afternoon and evening as well and today:

if only showing 3G signal meaning u only get within 384kbps only,. u need the HSDPA or HSPA or HSPA+ signal show than only u will get higher faster speed,.
*
i think there is only 2G and 3G symbol on the MiFi modem. Even now it is showing 3G, but my speed is now much faster. thanks for the update. btw, i pm u for some help...pls check ur pm. thanks! smile.gif
