QUOTE(ddr3 @ Jul 19 2011, 08:02 PM) Good for you. Added on July 19, 2011, 11:52 pm QUOTE(Kang17 @ Jul 19 2011, 08:07 PM) Hey! how do u like the U mobile? this is my first time choosing Broadband. Also I was wondering if I should just get the 128 plan with the USB modem bundle by U mobile or have to get some other brand myself for better speed. Or it is the same? after bad experience with celcom bb and so expensive (but very good speed) maxis, i try umobile and fall in love with it. I try with U68 1st, and 5gb doesn't enough for me. So i take the MB128, still got 4gb left after 3 weeks use.About the modem u should ask other forumer here like Mr digilife coz i'm not an expert bout this. I only use old 7.2 mbps huawei modem and planning to get the 42mbps soon. This post has been edited by orenhijau: Jul 19 2011, 11:52 PM |

QUOTE(dani_irwan @ Aug 1 2011, 06:33 PM) Have just subscribed to UM68 prepaid broadband just now at Berjaya Times Square. So far very satisfied with the speed I'm getting at Seksyen 15, Bandar Baru Bangi. Have a few questions: a) I always topup with maybank2u. Top up value of rm5, 10, 50 and 100 available.a) Besides going to 7-11 to purchase the UM topup code/card, is there an easier way for me to buy UM topup? Maybank2u/CIMBClicks/online, etc? b) How can I check my data usage? I use the USB modem plugged into a 3G router, so the data log that comes with the USB modem can't be used to log accurate amount of data used. Furthermore, UM lacks an online customer service website like Celcom & Digi, where user can login and check their FUP and data usage to date. So how do you guys do it? b) sadly the only way to check our bb usage is using *118# menu on the phone. |

QUOTE(acbc @ Aug 4 2011, 06:28 PM) This RM 28 broadband is hopeless... even prime area such as TTDI, the speed is slower than DiGi EDGE (even with full 3G bars)! IMHO, this RM28 plan is useless for heavy user like me, i think thats why they dont even call it a broadband instead an unlimited mobile internet. The 500MB qouta come with speed that capped up to 14.4Mbps(where available). Once u finish the qouta the speed is throttled down to very horrible 64kbps for the rest of the month. Gonna stop renewing this month. Moving back to Maxis BB and pay a little extra. With that speed if we using phone to check email, fb or twitter thats ok lah. Tapi kalau nak streaming atau d/load big files baik tak payah lah. Better take MB40 or MB68. |
