Comparison on prepaid Unlimited Mobile Internet plan, and postpaid U28 plan, both RM28:

UMI = 500MB data (2.5G speed thereafter), 100 free minutes to other operators, 60 free minutes per day to U-Mobile lines, 30 free sms.
U28 = 1GB data (2.5G speed thereafter?), 0 free minutes to other operators, (60 free minutes to U-Mobile lines per day?), 300 free sms.

Personally I prefer prepaid because that is my average data, voice call and sms usage. However, only postpaid provide bill statements. sad.gif

Question - I switched via MNP to U-Mobile prepaid, can I change to a U-Mobile postpaid line and keep the same number?

Thanks!! rclxms.gif notworthy.gif

U-Mobile is deducting my calls made to U-Mobile numbers even though they gave me free U-to-U calls. I only make a few minutes of such calls each day, so there is no way I could have exceeded the 1 hour daily quota

Yet, after I made a 30 second call to a U-Mobile line, I get a message telling me that my free calls quota (from my prepaid UMI package) had been used up.

What a con job, U-Mobile.

Quick question, the UMobile MiFi device - in one page it states support up to 5 wireless devices, but in the FAQ pages it states that it supports up to a max of 10 users... which is correct?

Is it capped at up to only 5 simultaneous connections to the MiFi device?

I got an SMS saying my free calls will expire shortly. But the last SMS from u-mobile after I topped-up clearly said that my free calls will last until March. My friend got the same SMS. What's happening, U-Mobile? Are you shortchanging us again?

1. RM50, last week
2. No
3. Says March-2012.

Hmm, I think U-Mobile is sending out wierd SMS messages, if it doesn't match the system... I know for sure I'm not the only one.

1 How much did you top up and when?
2 Have you topped up any additional amount since then?
3 What expiry date for the free calls does the system show under *118*6*3*1#?

U-Mobile sent me the wrong SMS again telling me my free calls are expiring when it should continue for 2 more months! If they keep doing this, even an apology from the CEO won't be enough.

Maybe 1 million subscribers is already too much for them to handle.

i had both the same problem - unable to connect and make calls yesterday night. also, i had an sms from u-mobile saying they had difficulty trying to auto-renew my mobile internet subscription, same as reported here earlier.

i think u-mobile quality of service is pretty much going down the drain. I am upset because i had been an early supporter and encouraging many of my friends and family to switch, or at least try it out.

question - i signed up for another postpaid U broadband over a month ago. it's over a month now but i haven't received any notification or bill statement from u-mobile. i checked the account online, it says bill not ready yet... wtf?

if i don't pay soon will the account get terminated or what? where's the bill?

hi, did you provide email when registration
if yes, your bill maybe sent to your email.
pls check.

yes i did, but didn't receive anything via email or post. i checked via the online portal self-service login, and the bill appeared today. yesterday it was not yet available.

i also noticed i got billed 2 months, 1 of which is advanced billing (ridiculous policy changes not in the original T&C, u-mobile you can't just decide to charge another month without customers signing their agreement!).
