I've been using U mobile broadband for 2 months now.
The problem is the connection always disconnect at random interval.
To reconnect I've to take off the modem and put it back.
This is very annoying especially if I'm in the middle of downloading.

I thought with the holidays and everyone gone back to their hometowns the problems would be gone. It's still there. Their upgrade is a botched job. It's been 20 freaking days since their so-called upgrade and I'm still having issues.

apersaje are you in KL?

Yup, in KL. It's too frequent and very extremely irritating.

Man, U Mobile Customer Service suck big time. Just now the line dropped and I can't connect either using Windows Dialer or Join Air3G. Tried to call them few times and average waiting time is more than 5 minutes. Nobody answered. I mean, if there's no one to answer calls at this time of the day then just say so. Then after a few attempts and one reboot later I was able to connect again. Man, P1, Maxis and Celcom a little bit slow here. I need a new wireless broadband provide.

I just bought u mobile U68 package since my previous subscription has expired.
Sadly the speed is sofar king slow that I can't even finish a test on speedtest.net and opening this thread takes time.
And I dont want to get on about their CS.
Very "good" waiting time plus the ever annoying waiting song.

Since last weekend I noticed that during the day, especially early in the morning my connection is good.
But different case during night, speedtest result is less than 100kbps.
Oh well, time to switch to a new broadband internet provider.

Finally, after a week, there's some improvement.
Now I can read manga online.
But still far from previous speed.

Just tried for almost 30 mins to top-up using *138*, but unsuccessful.
Keep getting system unavailabe or something message.
Even *118* request is returned with system is currently unavailable message.
Anyone having the same problem?
Currently I'm in Taman Melati.

I was expecting the first few tries won't go through, but almost 30 mins is ridiculous.
Well, at least the data cap is good.

Just called the CS because I'm getting message saying I can't subscribe to a new prepaid broadband plan because I have an existing plan. From *118# I checked my usage and it showed my plan expired on 31 Jan. The CS dude said my plan only expires tonight with a casual tone. Then I told him THAT's the problem. I'm getting different information then him. He just sighed and said the system shows that my plan expires tonight and I can subscribe to a new plan by that time. I didn't wait any longer and just hung up. Great service U Mobile.

Well, to be honest, that's too much of a hassle for me.
I'm just gonna subscribe tonight and see what happens.
Waiting to switch to fixed line broadband in a few months

Unsubscribing to an existing prepaid broadband plan only deactivates auto renewal.
Re-subscribtion can only be done after the plan expired.
As told by a U Mobile CS dude.
Anyway, there's still 2 hours to go.
