QUOTE(coolstore @ Dec 19 2011, 12:13 PM) regarding the throttled speed by u-mobile:
bought a prepaid sim pack for the purpose of trying u-mobile personally: 1 day 500MB RM5 subscription to view their speed, stability and throttled speed after reaching quota.
the answer is : 64Kbps after quota (did several speedtest and view dashboard speed), lower than other telcos which got 128kbps. but u-mobile is speedy and stable connection, just don't cross the line ... where do you test it and wat speed are u getting averagely?

QUOTE(jasonlts @ Dec 27 2011, 10:08 AM) hi all, just wondering if it's possible to get the Prepaid starter pack for U Broadband (without modem) ? Can... just buy the prepaid starter pack... at RM8.50 if i'm not mistaken... but then you'll need to reload to subscribe to the broadband services lor... it's initially preloaded with RM5...
