thanks for the menu code, it is not showing net usage, as it is unlimited so U not bothering of usage of net details to cust. it will be good if they put it becoz after 500mb they cut the speed drastically.

The right menu for check usage is *118*2*3#
Of course U-Mobile have the chance for check usage and traffic remaining wink.gif

That's valid if you're subscribed to any prepaid broadband packages - Unlimited Mobile Internet NOT included. Otherwise you'll only get a message stating you're not subscribed to any broadband package...

new U user but now I'm waiting 3 days for my line to activated
and I'm trying 2 days straight to call and get through U Care Centre

and they said my number already being terminated and my simcard (barcode number) is invalid!

is there any other solution I can try to get my line activated?

i terminated my U68 package a couple of months ago as I was told by CS belatedly that the upload speed was only 50kbps max. Is this true? Even for the 42Mbps package?

I am looking ard for a DiGi replacement as my area suddenly drop coverage due to the removal of a transmitting site. sad.gif

back from last month, we have better upload speed, around 1Mbps all the time. From USJ21, Puchong, Bukit Jalil, to Desa Petaling. Tested Putrajaya, KL city all good upload speed.
U Mobile upgrade to HSPA+ already, so not like before, only get 0.1-0.2Mbps upload at some area.
Of course i believe it only apply to some Klang Valley, Johor, not all the places.

My phone ( HTC Desire HD, HSDPA 14.4 Mbps; HSUPA 5.76 Mbps)
can get 2Mbps-6Mbps ( highest ), UL 1-1.8Mbps.

Some user here said if you are using 21Mbps modem, you can get 10Mbps at least if got good coverage. And Some1 hit 20Mbps if using 42Mbps modem. Not sure on the upload.
So if you are using 7.2Mbps/2Mbps modem, you will get like my speed above.
I have tested on my huawei 7.2Mbps modem before.

I believe Digi still giving 1-1.2Mbps DL with 400-500kbps UL only since from they launch thier broadband/3.5G ( Actually they promote no speed limit for first time they launch( mean 14.4Mbps ), after few months later, they make it all the same. ( 700kbps/200kbps ).

I was using thier broadband back to 2009 ( 1 year ). Then terminated. Until now no improve at all. My wife is using smartplan all the time until now, i can say they still maintain it, or drop a little bit sometime on the speed.

Using it, and loving it apart from that dark day, i can't complain. As for the speed, you can refer to my posts here in the thread, i did several speed test here and the result is very satisfactory.

I am eager to try UM broadband but the mifi modem is not cheap. I am worried that if later find it not suitable, then the modem will be wasted ($250)...

Now I am under TM 1 mbp package. Speed too slow for 2 laptops to run movies at the same time.
How nice if can use my present modem cuz I just bought it new 1.5 mths ago cry.gif

honestly, if you are thinking to use U mobile broadband to watch movie for 2 laptops, i don't know how many day ( or hour ) your quota use up.
RM128/20G just the best package for you. But still not enought i think.

I suggest you get the prepaid first, try with your phone if your phone can support internet tethering.
If no such function, then i think you still can sell the modem to public if really not use to it.
