Yeah.. even now my iphone 4 also without any casing.. I spend too much money for casing range from puluh ringgit to hundreds.. Ends up, a full body screen protector satisfy me... The recent case i got is lifeproof water proof case that cost USD 80.. And use it only during water sport outing.. Very cool, water proof with underwater taken etc..

If you want it to be as thin as possible then yes a screen protector would do but the casing at the back does bring a few benefits like improved grip (I know many complaint how "slippery" the iPad 2 can be, plus it's so thin) as well as some shock protection too.

I do, and since using it, i no longer bother to get the front cover related casing such as smartcover or any like that, only back cover + screen protector smile.gif

Now not using ipad case
1. Blue smart cover + smart cover buddy
2. Moshi cocerti purple

Now using
1. MoovWorks back cover (aint sure specific model, materials kinda like the Macbook Speck back cover like seethru and satin) + Ipad bag wink.gif

Just out of curiosity, does Moshi concerti support the smart cover function on the iPad 2?

I think at the moment in Malaysia it's still quite rare, another factor is because many people use a folio type of casing to give it a sleek organizer look and then they will have another bag to put other devices/stuffs like notebook or camera and so on, so the iPad goes together with it and there's no need to spend more for another bag. laugh.gif

It doesn't. You DIY a magnet biggrin.gif But it's just a nice-to-have feature. Really not much difference to just let the screen auto-off.

Now I'm spoiled by my casing's auto on/off feature that it became a habit to just open the casing expecting it to turn on on casings that don't have the auto on/off. sweat.gif

Saw someone selling exco brand with shoulder sling but it's canvass.
Targus got higher quality material but still finding out from seller wether it comes with sling. Most ppl selling is just Slipcase, and put inside another bag like u said.

Yea, I think the black would be suitable for a casing like the Marware MicroShell Folio. Does look super sleek. biggrin.gif

Seems to fit Apple devices nicely but I myself would be extra cautious when carrying this bag since nowadays snatch thieves usually will do their research and they know how to pinpoint their targets. sweat.gif
