@omninech - how did apple reimburse you with the money?? i'm thinking to complain too as this is actually a gift for mother's day and is super delayed...

@samlee860407 - my oder date is 3/5. apple's initial delivery date was 23/5 (means i receive on 23) but that was when the shipment date was 18/5. Later I got email on 16/5 stating that ipad2 already shipped out. very happy. thought i can surprise mother one week earlier... mana tahu the date is pushed back again due to m'sian customs... i don't understand why this batch of apple products cannot get customs clearance when it seems like everyone is buying ipad2 online as well.

@omnimech - thx!! i think i will try my luck! i think both our ipad2 are stuck in the same batch which customs won't clear...

i doubt i can get it before 23rd. DHL doesn't make deliveries during the weekends and for sure msia customs is not going to put apple products under priority for them to clear it over the weekend... well we'll just have to see how it goes... just really curious about the customs delay and wondering if it's because of the customs crackdown...

DHL doesn't update the waybill. You need to use the tracking link provided in the email Apple sent you regarding the shipment notification.

this is my latest update so far. apple cs has no answer to the reason of delay thus far.

when it's stated with Delivery Courier. It means you're mostly likely to receive the package the day itself. It is with the delivery man and he is making his rounds around town to make the door-to-door deliveries.


Also to those who used Direct Access credit cards to sign for this purchase, do check your statement as previously mentioned by someone else before, I also got charged extra. I'm checking with customer service on this but I hope no one else will have to suffer this.
