Hard to tell Eden,

I ordered another 2 units today and the delivery date states 21st June. My previous order arrived a week earlier than the stated date.

Was there a change in how apple store operates? My first 2 units ordered on 29th April, nobody from apple called to verify my purchase except my bank. This time round, apple gal from spore called and ask a few verification thingy, after that then they send me confirmation emails.

Fraud cases in Malaysia ??

I believe apple is ok, you noticed that most of the delay is between DHL and Custom at both countries.

Bulk shipment since it is to SZB should be pallet size, definitely not container size.

Same as me. Bulk courier.

My experience, it takes apple 3 days to verify cc payment, another 3 days for engraving. Rest of the days manufacturing. 12 days from "not yet shipped" to "prepared for shipment" and 1-2 days for shipped. Reaching KUL or SZB then no man's land. Can be as fast as 2 days or 1 week hahahaha

Mine ETA for 2nd batch 21st June ordered 31st May.

Apple using DHL Bulk and not express, they need time to break out the bulk but as usual, 3 days after they shipped I will get it. DL on its way to my office now. This is not an iPad, it is the extra power adapter I ordered, my iPad still under "not shipped yet"

Don't get overly worried, Apple using bulk shipment, I would believe they will change to Prepared for Shipment soon cos they would want to pack as many units as they can into the pallet before flying to SZB or KUL. Save cost ma, even if mine is Prepared status, it might be longer in that status till the rest of you guys catches up.

Nope, I am in East Malaysia too. Mine just changed to "Prepare For Shipment" today.

Yeah last month when I went to Wong Kwok area to collect my iPad from DHL, there was a small 1/2 ton lorry full of these and every shipment too. Lots of KK buying online. This time round I purchase with additional charger, and DHL guy send to my house instead of office cos late 8pm last Friday. I asked him why he is still working at night, he says "Buss banyak ba iPads, tia bulih habis hantar". In his van still got a few more iPad he is sending. Poor DHL, the management didnt anticipate so much units I think.

Normally takes 3 days from "Prepared For Shipment" that engraving stuff. If I get a "shipped" notice on 9th, then I think surely koyak come weekend kastam hahaha. Anyway, I am having wifi problem with my router, got to buy a new router for these iPads. Downgrade to wireless G hahaha

iPlx, kk units I expect them to ship by 9th June thereafter get stuck in KUL for many days hehehehe
