yup, am order for engraved...but, I guess it just need the machine to run the graving right? I guess it shall not taking till three days just to do the job...well, this is my imagination la...since am never been in foxconn's factory b4..hehe

on 1st June, the status changed to 'prepared for shipment'...today still same le...haizzzz

btw, how u knw the whole engraving process will taking three days to process?

maybe our product not same gua....usually, the prepared to shipment process will took about 2-3days based on the other forumer feedback...

I also not sure why certain items been processed at KUL and eventually passed to courier while some have the first clearance at SZB then KUL before the item being pass to courier..

I suggest u self-pickup the item at DHL office.... much better~ dun play cat and mouse game...its tiring

am just accidently dropped by at indonesia famous forum named KAKKUS, they also reported the delayed ipad2 at their entry point (custom too)....for the case of SG, haizzz..only one word to say, EXCELLENT!!!!!!! In just two days you can get ur ipad2 after the item been shipped frm Shenzen factory....

hurray~ eventhough for import and export purpose, the malaysian only need 7 papers /documents, but it seems rediculous la.... looks is nice, but when it come to productivity that is another issue... (see: World Bank's publication regard documentation for export - cant recalled the exact report...haizzz )

HHP : Shun Tak Heliport HHP Airport, HHP is an IATA code for the airport.... lol~ weird la~ (more info click Wikipedia and here)

I suspect the subcontractor of DHL is using boat to pick-up the cargo frm SZX,then shipped the stuff using sea vessel to somewhwre before load it into airplane...perhaps, who knows..ahahhaa

I suspect the SXZ is Shenzhen Bao'an International Airport (click courier). DHL hired transmile (or other third party - but,transmile in my view is the most high probably) to handle sending the cargo from the aforementioned airport to Malaysia airspace. Sound logic here. While you're enjoying the Shenzhen airport wiki, plz look for the cargo section and find for the Transmile cargo courier..then you will get my point here.

if am not mistaken, Transmile had a hub at SZB (subang) and BKI (KOta KInabalu)...so, in short DHL doesn't handle all the stuff..it just had been outsourcing to third party. Want more proof? Then click Transmile route. See the service route. Got direct plane frm SZX to Malaysia.

in case of any delayed, maybe DHL cant be the black sheep also la...coz as we realised now, third party is handling the DHL cargo anyway (at least in this ipad2 case la). You knw la, if you wanna do all the pick-up, till delivery the stuff to customer door, then their will be the problem of capital, so, if wanna depend on people, sometime we gonna look into their face eventhough we're the one hiring them to handle the task...

opssss... am I writing up academic report for my professor? lol~

why awhile in SZB and KUL? Are DHL wanna quickly clear up backlog due to delayed clearance by playing cat and mouse by moving the bulk of ipads to subang and klia ?
