u bought using CIMB/Direct Access credit card? there was a similar situation discussed in the previous thread (V1)
there is no extra charge for other credit cards discussed

apple site down,can really clarify the status, my status changed to "prepared for shipment" since thursday morning, thought the site is down, i still hvnt received any email notice from apple...

I ordered on 9th may too..last checked Friday..status still not yet shipped..what time did u ordered yours on the 9th of may??mine is 32gb White..not engraved..

I ordered mine on Apr 29 and have yet to received mine. it is stuck at KLIA for more than 5 days!! Here is the latest status as of yesterday:

DHL really sucks. Anybody can beat this?

can not be. i order mine on 29 apr too.. received on 16 may...

tracking site is down currently...i guess it has to do with the stock problem/apple store down...

My friend ordered on May3 and received his too. I called DHL yesterday (Apple Customer Service closed on weekends), the guy pick up the phone was not too friendly, anyway I asked him why it stuck at airport for 5 days? he told me it was a big bulk shipment of more than 7000 packages and said Apple only promise me by 23rd of May, I told him if it is still stuck at Airport as of yesterday, I do not think I will get my shipment on 23rd as my area is not serviced by DHL and they need to pass it to PosLaju which will have a least 2 days delay. I am going to call Apple Customer Service tomorrow and demand that they deliver by tomorrow as they promised!!

CIMB charged me RM1814.19

the best thing Apple can do for u is to give u a rebate of rm50-rm100 for the trouble caused will that compensate your soar heart?

just say u will cancel the card for the inconvenience caused and the extra $$$

Apple sent an email to me saying I will receive my unit 2-4 days late. But it's finally shipped. No complaints. Hehe.
