FINALLY! The Wait is over! Gotten my another 2 son from TS!
Purposely called the poslaju center ask them DO NOT deliver to my house but instead I went over and pickup to ensure the survival rate. After unpack, wash and check in 5star hotel. Guess only bring them out for photo shooting on this coming Saturday. QUOTE(leeyung @ Jun 5 2012, 11:27 AM) LoL, I think no need a century gua? LoL, but Yamatso San told me that fella same age as his grandpa, so I guess at least the age 50 and above LOL. If a century, might be 2x of current size. But then... 50 years then only can grow to 16cm. Fuhhh! A longggg timeeeee still! This post has been edited by fylon: Jun 5 2012, 05:40 PM |

QUOTE(kioko126 @ Jun 5 2012, 05:41 PM) Ehe.. Those 2 from TS is the 3rd and 4th son already. Gotten my 1st Marimo from a friend of mine about 1.5 years ago when she's on a trip to hokkaido. The nano size type. And just right after 1 day I placed my order with TS, my other friend gifted me another jumbo size (which I posted the pic a page back). A belated birthday thou. Now then these 2 joined in! Total have 4 now. Didn't name them tho! |

QUOTE(leeyung @ Jun 6 2012, 11:31 AM) Haha, such a nice 5 start hotel to them. Haha take your marimos to grow in such size, then pass to your grand son after 50 years Eiks. Mixed up with ur sales thread. P/S: Btw bro, I am not this thread TS (Thread Starter), this thread is created by Andy0625, one of the dedicated marimo lover and owner~ Usually does not come with a back filter. We call that kind of filter (used by fishman one) as hanging filter. Typical 3 sizes available in market. Spec range according to their flow rate n price do range from RM15-40 depending on the flow rate. The filter comes in package with carbon filter inside. 50years? Btw, thank you for the info about the tank. Will look for it once back from my mid year escape. Any idea what is the price range for this type of tank? > 200? |

QUOTE(leeyung @ Jun 10 2012, 04:44 PM) Glad that you are back bro Owh.. Okay.. no worries with the browning bro, by performing more rapid change of water and wash the marimo, the brown patch will diminish by part because they are actually a part of the metabolism for marimos. You may PM me for more details I thought something went wrong with em. Both of them having this problem, the giant one a bit more serious. Just did water change for them and stuff back to fridge again. |

QUOTE(Malformed @ Jun 11 2012, 10:20 AM) Emergency! My marimo balls are in bad shape! They are totally brown in color, one of it has little green left. Is there any way to save them? They were out of the tank for 1 month, in a bottle.. I think it was due to lack of nutrients / sunlight that caused this.. Finally back with me, I placed them back in a planted tank hoping they can recover in months time. Sounds serious eh? Btw, can try put em inside the fridge for a week or two and see how it goes. |
