P/s: Just a fast flash shot with table lamp. Kindly ignore the print and dirt on the tank.

Ehe.. Those 2 from TS is the 3rd and 4th son already. brows.gif

Gotten my 1st Marimo from a friend of mine about 1.5 years ago when she's on a trip to hokkaido. The nano size type.

And just right after 1 day I placed my order with TS, my other friend gifted me another jumbo size (which I posted the pic a page back). A belated birthday thou.

Now then these 2 joined in! Total have 4 now. brows.gif

Didn't name them tho! blush.gif

leeyung, do hope you will post more pics/videos of your super gigantic ball. I wonder with such a size, can it float?

As for my Marimos, they are now in my Marimo+shrimp tank. Love it so much!

The tank itself comes with a back filter attached right? I mean there's a compartment for filter at the back that stick together with the tank. laugh.gif

Haha, such a nice 5 start hotel to them. Haha take your marimos to grow in such size, then pass to your grand son after 50 years tongue.gif Treasure of family liao haha
P/S: Btw bro, I am not this thread TS (Thread Starter), this thread is created by Andy0625, one of the dedicated marimo lover and owner~
Usually does not come with a back filter. We call that kind of filter (used by fishman one) as hanging filter. Typical 3 sizes available in market. Spec range according to their flow rate n price do range from RM15-40 depending on the flow rate. The filter comes in package with carbon filter inside.

Eiks. Mixed up with ur sales thread. laugh.gif Paiseh!

50years? laugh.gif Hard lo..

Btw, thank you for the info about the tank. Will look for it once back from my mid year escape. Any idea what is the price range for this type of tank? > 200?

Finally have to time to check this thread. laugh.gif Been busy for my friend's wedding on the past few day.
Both my super giant and giant from LY looks browner then the other two. hmm.gif Not sure is I kept that too long in the fridge or what. Had take them out for absorbing sunshine since morning. There's bubble around but yet learn how to float.

Glad that you are back bro biggrin.gif

no worries with the browning bro, by performing more rapid change of water and wash the marimo, the brown patch will diminish by part because they are actually a part of the metabolism for marimos. You may PM me for more details biggrin.gif
*
Owh.. Okay.. laugh.gif

I thought something went wrong with em. Both of them having this problem, the giant one a bit more serious. Just did water change for them and stuff back to fridge again.

Emergency! My marimo balls are in bad shape! They are totally brown in color, one of it has little green left. Is there any way to save them? They were out of the tank for 1 month, in a bottle.. I think it was due to lack of nutrients / sunlight that caused this.. Finally back with me, I placed them back in a planted tank hoping they can recover in months time.
*
Sounds serious eh? sweat.gif What happen and why went into bottle instead of tank?

Btw, can try put em inside the fridge for a week or two and see how it goes. icon_rolleyes.gif
