the decoration still temporary, I quickly put them with whatever available today

I still need to buy filter...but I still confuse which type/size I should buy smile.gif hopefully I can get it soon

The lamp now is 8 watt incandescents lamp, Gonna find red/blue LED lamp too as sugested by Kaisergrendel here biggrin.gif

My aquarium size now is 15.5x15.5x15.5 cm...still thinking about the decoration.. happy.gif

Photos taken using Lumix Panasonic^_^

wondering why one of them floating and the rest aren't ya? sweat.gif

Hello Azure Fox
Your tank looks very big. Much bigger that describe by you as 15.5 cm by 15.5 cm. Better be quick in getting in the filter and some fish in. Then your tank will be very vibrant, fill with movement and colours. rclxms.gif
By the way, what is the size of your Marimo?? Looks like Giant or Super Giant from picture. And how many did you get from LeeYunG. I can count about 10 of them. drool.gif
Good work, keep it up thumbup.gif

I think you have too much grave or maybe the size is too big.

Dear all, sorry la, long time no step here as I was outstation biggrin.gif Finally I have the time to sit down and catch up back this thread.
Wow, Kaisergrendel quoted so many things from me ar brows.gif
Nice photos, same as the one you whatsapp me?
In fact for HOB filter, any brand will do for me, performance wise nothing much different smile.gif Yeah, the Marimos go through very strict screening for quality control smile.gif
Eh bro, using RO water is not a good idea as it was too "clean" and less on mineral, it is just a pure H2O without any mineral, the water hardness is pretty low for RO water.
wakakaka, yeah outstation and less frequent online tongue.gif
Sorry bro, as mentioned in above, outstation and less frequent online ma btw you can always whatsapp me for fast reply, also I already replied ur PM

Hi all biggrin.gif
Just would like to know, are there any different between marimo of japan and other countries like scotland or iceland. I mean in term of physical, appearance, color or any other signs.
Reason why i ask is that, the price of Japanese Marimo are far more expensive than europe marimo.
I have checked with some local (malaysian), thai, indonesian and singapore owners. And I have mix results.

Mostly say no different. They even show me photos and yes, the marimo look the same. Maybe the feel is different. Or the rate of growth. Not sure. hmm.gif

That why most indo and singaporen owners buy from europe sellers. So much cheaper than the Japanese.
Even in malaysia, the market value is almost 50% cheaper. (Mudah and Lelong)

Please comment. I could be wrong. Still learning. biggrin.gif

Hi all

All I asked was 1 simple question 'the diff of Japanese and Europe Marimo' and i get a lengthy lecture on 'not to be lazy'. This is a forum where seniors can guide / help the newbies like us in understanding on the topic discuss better. If you really wants to help, either give us a direct answer or guide us to the post number. We know what to do from there and we really appreciate your assistance. BUT please dont give us names by calling us lazy.

Thank you for your understanding. Reading 2,300 over posts takes one hell of time. I prefer to spend time watching my Marimo bounding up & down. More smoothing to my mind after a mad day in the office. I dont need any more headache.
Another reason why I prefer ask openly is to build up relationship with the senior and to keep the topic running. You can see some of the other topics are so quiet, almost dead.

have a wonderful weekend watching your beautiful Marimo.
