icic, yeah definitely in cooler place their color very deep green and nice, just like what you are showing over there u should wash wash a bit the carpet when u free

hey bro, this is a bad environment for the marimo, as your water is a dead water, therefore you need to perform rapid water change, the bubbles are not produced by marimo, but produced by your dirt water bacteria, I remember last time you showed us the photos, your marimo quite green eh,. somehow base on your tank setup as in photo, I believe there is no chiller for your marimo right? because the volume of your water is very low, therefore the water get warm easily (rise in temperature) and this is not good for your marimo, this may be one of the root cause for the turning of color, btw for even other nano tank with water flow, this is not a big deal

For that kind of volume tank, I recommend you once a week will be great, your marimo is sicking ler bro

I am in the experiment on this, but not sea-money but is Triops! hatching in progress, since 2 weeks ago, it takes time to make them grow larger

ya correct, and usually RM3/kg, do not select too fine one as this may cause the sand/stone stock on your marimo

Personally tried before, temperature over here doesnt boost their growth and therefore failure rate very high

Added on July 5, 2011, 1:14 amya agreed with you bro, but in fact the tank is not expensive, about RM50 can get one mini or nano d, just the water filter and the lamp damn exp, each about RM35 then add on all together, sand this n that, alamak sure over RM150.

However with such tank setup, that will be best for your marimo especially the water filter thingy. This is because it mechanically and biologically filtered out the water in the tank and make them purified. Thats why you see my tank the water is very clean due to the carbon filter I am using Then it will be best and optimum to marimo to grow
