Hi,
My baby 4 months now and he drinks 4 oz of milk every 3hrs (When he's formula fed during day time at the babysitter). I bf him during the night time when I go back home. That time he's latched to my breast most of the time. maybe he miss me so much during day time.
So my prob is that the formula I give (Dumex 0 - 12 bulan one) say 4bulan baby should drink 8oz at 1 time for 4-5 feedings a day only, but my baby drinks milk so often. Is it normal?
Please advice.
Thanks

Mine drank nearly every 2.5 hours. Nurse taught me to add water instead of powder for each feeding. So her poop wont be hard. And she's only < 1 month.

Yes, is normal. Just let him drink. It is better to drink more rather than drink less, right? He's just a heavy drinker now

Hi,
Thanks for all the replies. I'm hoping to change my baby milk powder. As mentioned earlier in this thread, my baby drink Dumex 0 - 12 bulan milk powder. But he doesn't seem to be gaining weight. He's only 5.65kg and from last month checkup he gained only 650kg. Is it ok for 4 months baby to have weight of 5.65kg?
During daytime he's with babysitter and drinking FM. During night time I BF him...
Appreciate if someone can recommend me a good Formula Milk Powder for baby to gain weight + more nutrition.
Thanks

Hi,
I agree that BM is BEST and I do BF him when I come back home from work. I also tried pumping during office hours and giving it to Babysitter to feed during next day. But he don't like EBM anymore. I think bcos of the different smell. He only drink my milk fresh one.
That's why I need to give FM during day time when I am in office.
Thanks
