I have just got the incompleted new price list.

Will update on place soon.

On a side note, most popular models like P150HM and P170HM are now featured with backlit keyboard.

EM (new model) or HM (old model) version?

AFAIK, backlit keyboard is not compatible to be installed in HM model due to the design

I meant the previous model have been improved. Not those models.

PrinceJ don't sell Alienware anymore, from his illeGear website?

Yes we do.

The new M17x, M18x, and all ASUS and MSI related products will be updated recently.

Thank you.

is there big difference?im not really heavy gamer(maybe D3, future need for speed,MW) so do i really need that?
ya,warranty only in australia.if there is some shop able to repair it with cost then its fine

There is no way to repair your sager laptop here unless the spoiled parts are the following:

i) Hard disk
ii) RAM

Almost every RMA defect we have been encountering is hardware issue (CPU, GPU, motherboard, screen), especially the screen and GPU. Note that you can neither repair your optical drive here.

The normal shop even if the asus, acer, dell and whatever service center are not able to offer the replacement parts (perhaps some of them have mobile CPU replacement parts but don't expect it will be cheap).

So overall to say there is no way except using 2 way global shipment to have your laptop fixed if you are the lucky one.

Being Malaysia Sager reseller, that's also why we offer domestic warranty for Malaysian users who buy from us, because we have special channel to have your laptop covered under perfect part 1-1 exchange sager warranty. (for those who keep asking why our prices are slightly higher than US price, that's where the top-up price goes to.)

Just some thoughts for those whom expect to buy directly from US and use local computer shops for their sager laptops.

Prince J, Do you sell GTX580m GPU only and also 17 inch matte screen ?
Thinking of getting spare parts for my np8170.
I still do want to keep my gtx485m since it is still running with no problem all this time. And the screen, i want to try out the matte screen since glossy screen give out too much light in my eyes..more like flashbanged ..  =.= "

Hi there,

Nope we don't have any GTX580M, but the GTX680M will be available soon.

We don't sell screen individually.

how long will it take for illegear to assemble my laptop if i decided to order from them? 3-4weeks?

edit: and i still don't know how their warranty works  hmm.gif
*
It's 7 to 14 days at this moment.

We are the only reseller in Malaysia who offers local warranty, which means you are not required to send it back to US for repair.

Well, DHL and FedEX also ban LI-ON batteries, we do pay certain fee for inspection and approval that's why we still can ship DHL.

By the way, this is last year case.

anyone got a full bench on np9150 + 7970m?

what's the best place to get sager laptops? Illegear charges quite a lot.

was thinking basic spec of n9150+full screen upgrade+7970m. If I could remove HDD and just put a caddy would be great. how much is the shipping cost anyway?
*
I don't think there is big difference between our price and US reseller now, have you taken into account the cost you need to incur to have the laptop shipped to malaysia?

And the future contingent warranty cost needs to be incurred if your laptop fails you?

Considered LI-ON battery has been banned by USPS, the shipping cost is $300+ per way.

also for guys who are using ssd, where do you guys store your videos and movies? do you just store it on a external hdd? or remove the dvdrw and install a hdd there?

Sager recommend Crucial and Intel.

Probably this suits you

how about ocz vertex series? are they compatible as well?

also prince j changing a ssd on my p150hm is just as simple as removing the back panel and swapping out the drives right?
The OCZ one I am not sure, but I know Sager has done stability test on Crucial so they offer them.

Personally I think should be compatible, I had some few customers saying they are using OCZ without problem.

Yea just removing the back panel and swap it, as simple as ABC.
